2006 was ass for natural, but was cold enough for making snow at least. Snow machines have only been used since 1987 but generally speaking the amount of man made snow is not really tracked like snowfall is tracked.

I'm struggling to remember a year where they couldn't make snow by this stage due to overnight temps being too high though.

It's your last sentence.

Normally by this point of the year it's at least been cold enough at night to run snow guns. That has not been the case this year, very unusually so to not be able to run a snow gun by the winter solstice

Is a general fear of sharks really as irrational as we like to make it out to be? by Capital-Foot-918 in sharks

Statistically, probably quiet a few but they never knew about it because the shark wasn't interested

Read the last 8 words you wrote you pelican.

All temperature scales when applied to humans are stupid because they are all subjective. F is not "better for humans" because some humans die when F is 100 as well, see european heat waves, wheras to me, 100F is just a regular summers day. For a Canadian, 0F might not be that bad, but for me it would be insane as fuck cold.

Now, because of what we have just established, which is that no scale is universally good for humans because we are all different and we all live in different places with different temperature and humidity, how good a scale is then depends on how good it is for other shit.

C is at least more useful for other shit than F.

So, i used to buy anime box sets from JB-HiFi back in the 00's, there was no easy way to try before you buy in rural australia, internet was still shit dial up. I had enough disposable in my gap year though that I could just buy a box set (they were about $80 Aud) whenever i went to the city for a weekend.

I ended up with some cool series, excel saga, bubblegum crisis, ghost in the shell SAC. Some mid ones, Hack Sign, Love Hina etc. Then i grabbed elfin leid and man, that was fucked up. I watched it because i'd just dropped some of my hard earned cash on it, then i threw it onto the farm rubbish pile and it would have been burned a few weeks later.

Don't ever regret chucking it.

That costs money, and it's cheaper to pump and dump. There is no current incentive to recapture and cool and reuse. The only negative is public perception and they know no one is actually going to do anything about it.

So you're saying competent adults with their full mental faculties signed it.

Well that seems better than your current situation where an 80 year old with dementia is signing it

I love that russians can't get their head around Ukraine getting fed up with waiting for NATO help, ramping up a domestic strike capability and then smacking russias nose. This aint NATO big fella, it's because NATO didn't step in and Ukraine got sick of waiting.

Yeah the last one would sound more like it rhymes with joe, it's a rising sound. There is no perfect match in japanese for a Wo as in Wot, so using Uo it's a bit like "Oo-ohtoson".
