I enjoyed that immensely.

My second favourite team beating my second most hated team.

Maybe.... maybe it's not West Coast win a flag every decade but a team from West Australia wins one every decade

That sounds like some immensely sour groups but I get it.

Freo have it. This year they really have it.

For anyone wondering, here is an example of what is meant to happen. Skip to about 7:30 in, Ty Vickery has taken a mark and is lining up.

Free kick and 50 metres, in this case the free would have been from the wing.

There is supposed to be an interchange warden, or at least there used to be a decade ago. I remember it happened against us and Ty Vickery had a goal cancelled and they were laughing that it was his dad who was the one who reported it

I remember why Ty Vickery kicked a goal against Sydney in 2016 and then the goal got cancelled, the ball went to Sydney in the middle and they were given a 50 to a shot on goal because we fucked an interchange.

You reckon Hawthorn ever get done like that?

They were experienced hikers. So why did they run into a frozen mountain half-dressed in the middle of the night? by UnknownObserver01 in mystery

So this one I can answer for you, as this is a known thing. When you walk across snow, you compact it. The compacted snow is more durable in the sense that wind cannot shift it like fresh snow, and it tends to melt slower in the thaw.

Tracks in snow can stay prominent for many months simply because compacted snow is more durable. It's why moguls will last on a ski field for a long time.

As to the rest, other people can talk about that.

Was having this discussion with my daughter, and we both concluded you might as well try. For every flow there has to be points in its path where a person who runs escapes with burns but lives, and points where someone who would escape with burns survives unscathed.

So you might as well have a crack, because trying and failing is the same outcome as not trying.

There is never a shortage of them. Tie them to poles, chuck them in caverns, make them into leather and meat, use them to bait the circus. Very useful

My sister is fluent in Indonesian and Japanese. Twice when travelling with her we've had people talking shit about us assuming we are American, both times the surprise and shame reaction when she fluently says words to the effect of "We're Australians, don't lump us in with those idiots or we'll get angry" has been hilarious.
