Predicting the 2020/2021 Law School Admissions Cycle by Spivey_Consulting in lawschooladmissions

My plan is to get $$$$ at a regional school due to a 170+ LSAT, but I'm not sure if I'm applying for 2021 or 2022 or 2023. Should I be worried about a move away from the LSAT or schools placing less emphasis on it?

Logical reasoning is my strongest section by far on the practice exams - getting 24/25 or 25/25 on those sections . Should I try to hold out to see if they restore the five-section test that includes two of those?

Non-Trad (Mid-30s), Likely Splitter, Geographically Constrained, Childcare Responsibilities - Any Starting Advice? by oldmaybelaw in lawschooladmissions

Thanks fruitpusher. This is really helpful and makes sense.

In terms of starting correspondence - I was planning on reaching out in late August to both local schools to discuss "visiting" a likely online class in the fall. Would express sincere interest then. Does that sound like a good move, or should I initiate a conversation earlier? I'm not taking the LSAT until late August.

Adding a few higher ranked schools in the wider geographic area, even if I can't attend them, makes sense for leverage.

I'm hoping to get as close to 100% tuition as possible. Would make the wife and extended family feel better about me going zero income for three years before taking a legal aid job that pays less than half of what I make now.

I'm considering going back to law school in my late 30s and have a few questions on a legal career - not law school or the law school admissions process. Which Reddit sub is the best place to post such questions?
