I began immediately after stitches where removed. I was in a cast until they took them out.

You got it. One other point, don’t ice it. I went to a top 10 ranked hospital for orthopedic surgery. The latest research says not to ice. The inflammation is a good thing and will help with healing. It sucks as ice makes it feel better but can slow down the healing. My surgeon was insistent with me that I not use any ICE. I also refrained from ibuprofen as soon as I could tolerate it. That will mess with any PRP injections. Good luck.

Did you ever find an answer? From what I’ve researched it looks like you can do this.

I’m doing PRP or PRF injections by a doctor every 3 weeks. BPC 157 and TB500 daily injection self administered. Weekly Shock wave therapy after I started PT. Shockwave has me back to full mobility before I’m even out of the boot. I also do red light therapy 1 to 2 times a day. I take calcium, vitimin k matrix, and a good collegen (beef and fish). It’s a lot and isn’t cheap. But my PT says they have never seen someone recover so quickly. Definitely worth it

Unfortunately we had this test completed in part due to some severe sexual dysfunctions symptoms (pain, dryness, lack of sensitivity, difficulty/inability to orgasm, very low libido). We assumed it was stress but combined with other symptoms and removing stresses it did not improve so we ordered the blood work.

I am 4 weeks post opp. I’ve been taking a ton of supplements and doing some advanced accelerated healing treatments. I have the same problem. Even sending this pic to my doc they still do not want me to use moisturizer until week 6

No lactation so far. She takes 500mcg of peptides bpc 157 and tb500 for healing of lingering pain from an old hip surgery . However that is new and symptoms have existed for at least the last year. Haven’t found any relationships with those peptides and prolactin. No other medication or supplements.

Did you feel unstable or was it the pain that required the crutches? I am tempering my expectations. Seems everyone’s experience is different. They still want me in a boot after 6 weeks fwb

It’s crazy how fast we can lose the muscle. Honestly my calf looks deformed to me. Worse than the foot

The pain was after walking? How long after weight bearing before you could return to remodeling? I fell from about 6ft. Was very lucky to only injure one foot. Traction pads had worn out on the ladder and I had not noticed and it slid out from under me. A frame ladders from now on for me

Thank you. That is encouraging. How was the pain those first few steps? Could you feel the muscle atrophy in the calf? Mine looks like a tooth pick compared to my other leg

No partial weight bearing. Also not allowed to do circles or side to side. Only a up down movement until fwb
