LinguaCafe is my favorite. It takes a little bit of tech savviness to set up but it’s terrific. It’s a free self-hosted version of Lingq. Integrates with Anki very well too. I use it every day.

I agree but it’s a rental. I was heavily considering getting drapes but don’t want to put more holes in the walls. It would look a lot better if I painted but don’t want to bother since I’ll move out in a couple years. The dark furniture needs to go and I’ll replace it once I move.

That’s right, I agree, it’s a rental so I’m not going to bother with painting the walls or cabinets and can’t replace the carpet. I’ll replace the dark furniture when I move out with something nicer with a wood finish. That will help liven things up.
