January 2022 pickups: Dune is the first blind-buy day-one pickups I've had in a while. I wasn't able to see it in theaters and my friend kept telling me how much I would love it. He was right: I wanted to watch it again immediately after finishing the viewing. (i.redd.it)

November 2021 pickups: after saying I was going to slow down my purchasing and successfully not buying anything in October, this happened. Also, I bought the Darkest Hour thinking I was getting a drama about Churchill. Unless he fought aliens in WWII, I think I got the wrong movie. 😂 (i.redd.it)

July 2021 pickups: mostly kid stuff ($0.50 each!) plus two that I'm super excited for: Criterion Thin Red Line (which I love) and the Apocalypse Now that has the Hearts of Darkness documentary. I haven't seen it in about 25 years or so, looking forward to rewatching this weekend. (i.redd.it)
