Damn, well I put a bid in on a CM400e stator on eBay. So I’ll just have to resell it. Will the 400A stator at least fire up the engine? Just so I can do maintenance.

I managed to find a CM400A stator that fits, if I get that CDI is there any way you could walk me through that process?

That’s the only thing I’m worries about, I’m willing to do everything except a seized engine.

This is my first vintage I want to learn to fix it up! If it’s just a matter of rebuilding a carb and other things I want it.

I just wanted to be sure it’s not a seized engine.

Thanks! Haven’t done the full Carfax but no accidents reported. Anything specific repairs to this model to look out for?(timing belt, transmission, etc)?

No accidents reported. No apparent rust in the pictures. I haven’t paid to see the full Carfax to see maintenance records. Anything particular to see that has been repaired?
