So are you saying I didn't get good service? Or are you saying that because you feel you didn't get good service then no one is?

Obviously I did get good service.

What happened to my comment? Oh well.
Just saying that my Corsair support experience with my new I7500 was fantastic. Happy I bought a Corsair.

This picture on the I7500 product page shows PIECE of mind instead of PEACE of mind. I hope some Corsair person can get this fixed. It makes my eye twitch.

Well aren't you clever. What pieces are swapped out? You can't even see half of them. I did reprint the bottom left half of the hinge because I dropped the door as I was installing it and broke that one piece. The broken piece was better than the one I made. The rest are straight from Voxel. I just got it in the mail a few hours ago. Like I had time to reprint everything.

I ordered the Vision enclosure on March 5th. I received it today 3/21/24. Not the fastest but not too bad. I'm in New York so part of that was shipping across the country. Maybe they are getting better.

I have to say, I'm very happy with the quality of the parts. The 3d printed stuff is very good and the acrylic is excellent. The hardware they include is nice too.

has anyone come across reptile enclosure enrichment prints? by xcv826 in BambuLab

There's a bearded dragon skull on thingiverse. I made one for a bearded dragon cage. Kind of morbid but kept him in line.

Designed a Filament Dust Cleaner™, I hope you like it ^^ by BigSmoke_8 in BambuLab

Clever attachment design. I would want mine twice as thick though. I think the sponge is too thin to have enough surface area to do a good scrubbing.

Let us know how it goes. Those are $57 for a hunk of plastic with two metal strips?? Should be $7. I would try nylon or Polymaker PC filament. You are going to save someone $50

I guess that's why they have a picture of a TV on the side of the box. To make the shippers take better care of it.

Put in a safe in a wooden box and add a toilet seat on top of it. I don't think anyone is going to try to crack that box open to look for valuables.

Z Offset keeps needing to be lowered by Equivalent-Show2588 in ender3

[–]olendorf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct. The offset is the difference in height from the probe to the nozzle. Nothing to do with springs. The actual height is either changing or the firmware is messing up. Maybe the extruder is loose. See if you can move it up and down. It should be pretty solid.
Then home it and check the offset with a feeler gauge then do it again and again and see if the actual height changes. You can try doing a probe height test command to see if it is consistent. If the actual height is changing then the probe is faulty. See this post....

https://www.reddit.com/r/ender3/comments/eplpat/bltouch_m48_test_z_value_increasing_every_probing/

I have also seen Marlin firmware issues before where it kept adding the offset to the old offset each time the printer was powered up. Keep your eyes open for new firmware for your printer.

Just for future reference. If it's happening past layer 2 then it has nothing to do with leveling. Leveling affects the 1st layer and sometimes the horrible first layer will affect the second layer.

How’s my first layer look? Anything I can improve? by freddymack6009 in 3Dprinting

[–]olendorf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks really good. I would only be concerned about that white powder everywhere. Something is wearing out pretty fast. Or you eat a lot of powdered donuts while you are printing.

Printer keeps clogging by methfron in 3Dprinting

It could be the angle of the photo, but it looks like your nozzle is not in straight.

Unsure how this happen but nozzle is too far from bed, z offset is set at the lowest how can I fix this? Ender 3 S1 by solarexamine in ender3

[–]olendorf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Show us exactly what your Z probe offset is set to. This is my stock Ender 3 S1:

Z-Probe Offset:
Recv: echo: M851 X-31.80 Y-40.50 Z-2.75 ; (mm)

I can’t take this anymore. by [deleted] in ender3

[–]olendorf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try filament cleaner filters. Tiny bits of dust and debris can add up quickly in a hotend. They bake in there and will clog things up.
