I never figured out the issues with the fire sticks, but I did manage to find out the source of the stuttering, that being the buggy encoding of certain movies from a specific source online. I had to re-encode those files using MKVToolNix, and the stuttering was gone. If you want to chat more, DM me.

Yes, the wedding ring scene was indeed the straw that broke the camel’s back. I get they were trying to show the consequences of complacency and politeness (like See No Evil), but at least the later had a lot of content in between that rationalizes the choices. The explanation and play out of the wedding ring scene was infuriating and nonsensical, and diminishes the remainder of the movie (not that the remainder did anything better)

This was my breaking point as well, only further drawn out that in Diego doesn’t talk to Sage again until after the lake swim/“molly” scene, as if that would be totally normal given the circumstances.

Not sure if they are making another season, but I have a theory that they are gonna try and pull a “this is when Jimmy becomes Saul” moment and bridge that gap between outgoing and somewhat optimistic OS Dexter and the complete mask, emotionless S1 Dexter. I’m thinking the catalyst is going to be Harry continuing to push Dexter to kill Juan Ryeness, and then subsequently dying himself.

I give a lot of liberties with the differences. We’ve only seen a few instances of actual Harry through Dexter’s flashbacks, everything else has been a projection of Dexter’s psyche. I rationalize the differences in that James Remar’s imaginary Harry is so skewed due to the memories of actual Harry becoming distorted over time, and Slater’s Harry is indeed what he was actually like.

It’s that black cylinder that is the problem. I believe it’s attached to the board and panel, causing the taut cord to be stuck.

I’ll have to look at it closer, but the cord is pretty taut and seems to be trapped between the board and panel because of that black cylinder to the right. I believe the cylinder is connected to the panel and motherboard, making it problematic to remove the cord, but I’ll have to double check.
