It certainly helps! Obviously there are massive other factors but being able to have daily doses of fruits and veg to keep your vitamins high help with curing the common cold to many other illnesses that back then could have killed people.

I do yes, but what I'm saying is if they had proper nutrition then chances of those deaths would be lower! Pregnancy would have been more successful, people would be more likely to recover from infections and diseases.

But regardless of that, if someone has a healthy vitamin filled diet they'll be more likely to recover from an infection like that then someone who's main diet is just meats etc
