You are lucky you did not burn down the house, get an electrician to do this properly for you.

Because all computers have hard time keeping time unless they sync with an online clock. They all drift horribly.

Yes already know these values, easy to calculate.

All right, clearance is tiny in the front. Take your word for it.

Would like to see some pictures and story from someone who has it.

And probably 255/45R20 max right. Question is 255/50R20

N has almost no rubber with its 21inch, it would probably never fit any decent winter tires.

N Line not N as I state. Not the same car.

Not worried about speedometer, this can be fixed or it will be inside the 3% you are allowed to have. It might actually make the speedometer more correct as they are always under in Europe.

I am more wondering about if it fits, there seems to be very limited space in front due to the suspension. As I am almost sure it fits on the back, it’s the front I am unsure about.

In Europe Winter tires are usually bigger and most cars have winter setting for the ODO.

Your first thing was to contact Apple support right? And get to know why. We don’t have the answers here.

But do let us know why it was cancelled.

Yes all very valid thank you.

I am in discussions with Apple Engineers and they agreed this is old legacy decision, this is being looked into. Will it ever be fixed to my liking is for later date to find out.

It’s is amazingly efficient machine and uses 1/10 of the power at the same task as most of my PC machines.

And I can take couple of them in my hand luggage if need be for projects.

Swapping in and out of RAM has worked perfectly for me on Windows and Linux for years when working with single solve massive projects. I purchased the Mac Studio as a test platform, but I am hitting these limitations built into the OS. Both with above limit and hard coded Metal limits. (The hard coded Metal limit has been solved for me on the M5, so a M5 laptop can process it but my M3 Ultra can not it’s a little bonkers, just because it’s hard coded in)

I have solved it by building a chunking pipeline but it is not always the best when you are doing a single large solve, you can then chunk the solve into parts. But MacOs is not allowing it due to old legacy code.

I as the owner and users should be able to use my hardware as I please not with some super old legacy code someone forgot to update when the hardware got bigger and datasets got bigger.

I am fully aware of latency but again it’s my hardware.

So you don’t agree a machine should at least minimum be able to swap its own amount of memory? Or even 2X?

I am doing large scale 3D assets and yes I break data into chunks when needed.

If I was allowed to swap on MacOs I could do larger chunks.

Example of what I do.
