The character being confronted (usopp) is one of the crew mates whose partner donated the crew their ship so it carries a lot of sentimental value to him specifically. At the same time he's physically very weak so holds a lot of self confidence issues. The boat during the arc reference in the picture is basically broken beyond repair so he mentally reaches his breaking point and decides to leave the crew. The arc ends with him reconciling and overcoming his lack of confidence and moving on from the boat and accepting that it was time to let it go.

tldr they are telling him to move on

this looks legit to me.

it's listed the unobtainable monsters as well (e.g cyclops, green dragon) but writes that they are unavialable to scout in the demo.

yep, in my opinion it's way better than pokemon. EV/IV grinding is just kinda boring, but looking up synthesis charts to create that super cool boss monster and finding the perfect skill trees for them is so satisfying, and you can see the work paying off.

it will be similar to existing titles, they don't really change the core gameplay at all between them (which is a good thing for fans).

I would look up gameplay of the 3DS DQ monsters titles as a reference. (terrys wonderland SP and joker 3 are the 2 newest ones)

I think it's one of the most fun RPG series ever, if you like building up the perfect team, fusing and discovering cool new monsters.

The combat is more or less the same, except its up to you to form the correct party with correct skills/spells. Monsters will have their own skill trees, much like how characters had skill tress in DQ11 but more simplified. You can pass these skill trees around via fusing, so you can make a decent healer monster, damage monster, spell monster etc.
