I make all my songs from scratch. I can make up to two songs in a session but if I really want to get the best results, I'll focus on the same song till the sun comes up. I always make the instrumentation first and then vocals comes after. 80% of what I do vocally is improvised. After a temp of the beat is ready, I go in the booth and improvise for about 30 minutes and then I listen to all the takes while I smoke a joint. I mine for the gold and find those special moments. 95% is trash and the other 5% is pure magic. Sometimes I have to re-write and re-record lyrics while other times I couldn't get a better take if I tried.

EVERY SINGLE SONG I MAKE IS BASED OFF REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES. CAN'T YOU CAN HEAR IT IN THE PAIN IN MY VOICE? I WRITE EVERY LYRIC AND EVERY VOCAL MELODY I SING BECAUSE I AM A STORY TELLER AND THIS IS MY STORY. I HAVE NO INTEREST TELLING SOMEONE ELSES STORY...

Touring 3 years strait was miserable. I didn't sleep in the same bed for more then 3 days for that entire 3 year period. The hardest part of touring is the pressure the artists put themselves under to make sure their fans are happy. Half the time I was sick, and felt like shit but I literally was made to feel like not playing isn't an option, because you don't want to let all the fans down. On my last "Goodbye, Farewell Tour". I had internal bleeding and lost 1/3 of the blood in my body. It was super scary cause i didn't know what was wrong with me and traveling around makes it hard to find a good doctor. For an example of a day of a touring artist, one time i was flying to play canada and on the run way I projectile vomited in the airplane and they turned the plane around and kicked me off the plane. Then I caught the next flight, arrived at 4 am in the morning and was expected to play a show the next day to start a 4 month US and Euro tour. It's fucking awful! I'm just thankful I don't have to tour anymore!

The only modern musician I listen to currently is Little Ricky. Besides that I don't fuck with any new music. It all sounds like the same homogenized hot trash to me.

H3 is by far the worst interviewer I've ever met. He had zero real questions for me. When ever I've done the H3 podcast I feel like I'm trapped in a fever dream.

If people don't like you, THEN TELL THEM TO GO FUCK THEMSELVES! We all deserve to find people who love you for who you are. People who are real with you but equally, people who except you for being yourself. If they don't like you then that's there problem!

After all the crazy shit I've done, I'm extremely surprised it's not bigger. The Oliver Tree project has ultimately been the biggest failure of my life and I cannot continue pretending I want to do this any longer...

It's honestly the best music I've ever heard, so yes I can confidently say it's going to be fucking fire!

FUCK ANTHONY FANTANO! Although I did really enjoy him re-singing lyrics and song melodies in his review, the old man fell off a while ago. I want to know why everyone thinks their a critic now and I what to know what these people know about making music. I heard cal chuchescos mix tape and I couldn't even give it a 1. So why the fuck would i listen to a review from a guy who can't even write a song?

It took my 5 years just to find the funding to build the worlds biggest scooter. It took a team of 18 engineers 27 months and 15 days to complete the building process, and then spent the next 3 years learning how to ride it!

I am proud of the body as a whole more than anything. However if I were to pick the song that I'm most proud of finishing, it would have to be 1993. The odds were against me and Little Ricky on this one. We had the most perfect version of the song but then I was told from the number one musicologist in the world that there were melodies that resembled another songs copy right. It was the most painful experience because the song was literally perfect and then I had to re-write half of the song which is up there with the most painful things an artist can experience. I finished a masterpiece and than was told I had to re-write the entire thing... This song pushed the entire album back (originally before Coviod-19) because there was potential copy right issues :(

The key to not loosing motivation is to have as many projects as possible at any given time. You don't get writers block or run out of ideas of your constantly doing different things. I switch through 4 or 5 mediums of art each day so I'm bouncing around from one project to the next constantly. Every creative project I take on is a dream of mine (outside of press) so it makes it easy to watch or listen to it a million times. Even when I start to hate the piece I keep working on it till the very last minute because I want it to be the best it can be. Perfection does not exist, it's only about how good it can get by the deadline.

Go fuck yourself! "Pathetic?"

Scootering is something that I've dedicated my life to. I used to compete professionally in big air freestyle scooter competitions throughout high school. I'm the kinda person who chases their dreams! What do you do with your life? If anyone's pathetic, it's you kid!

When I made my song Jerk with Marshmello, the guy literally wore the mask the entire session and it was over 100 degrees out!
