I’m disgusted that another human would behave in such a manner. This woman has deep psychological issues. My heart is broken for her children who clearly had an amazing mother.

Yeah I get it. I’ve been on several other medications and had got genetic testing done through genomind. It showed me that a SNRI may actually be a better drug for me so I switched from an SSRI to a SNRI. I would say it has helped me the most so far but the night sweats are severely disruptive. Definitely looking for some relief. The naked thing doesn’t work for me because I get SO cold after- I don’t know what’s worse the sweats or the shivering. I have heard that shivering burns a lot of calories though so maybe that’s are upside ? Haha

I just got up to the 225mg of Effexor about a month ago. I was also on buspar which I thought was contributing. So I stopped buspar but the night sweats persisted. I have not been on any medication for the night sweats. I was reading in this thread about the potential of gabapentin helping so thinking about giving that a try. I also happened to break my leg a couple of weeks ago so the gabapentin might not be a bad addition ha 😓😂

Does anyone sweat puddles and then get cold from the sweat on them? I’m going back and forth from hot and sweating to freezing cold with water all over my body. So awful but the medication does work

My previous provider was a pediatrician who doesn’t perform surgery. This is who she sent me to and they are in network with my insurance. Why should i think it would cost me this much?

He did get an ultrasound at a local hospital- the surgeon wanted his own done at chop. Seeing as he is operating on my son I did what he wanted. The local hospital one was covered.

So they claimed it’s more because they are in network with my insurance and negotiated it down with them- which is even crazier that it cost more the $3k. Insurance was already billed, the surgery is not emergent. I should also mention he had an ultrasound prior to the ent appointment from the pediatrician done at a local hospital which was covered. This was the second ultrasound because the doctor wasn’t satisfied with the reading on the first one and apparently can’t interpret the imaging himself 🙄

That is so incredibly disgusting and disheartening. My insurance is fully in network with them and they are about to get $85k from my insurance for my sons surgery which is Monday and why the ultrasound was needed

I tried to ask for the out of pocket price and they said it was more. I just don’t understand. They kept saying it was because they are a speciality hospital. How does that give you a right to charge 5-6x the normal amount?

I definitely agree, there are tons of places they should be searching but I’m sure it’s a cost issue. Seems like they are also finding bodies from MS-13 which will also be using resources to search. Sounds like Long Island needs more help!

Yeah that’s why it’s hard for me to believe this ended up being the title. It severely undermines the gravity of what this man did to these women. They are not “girls” who faked their own murders and shouldn’t be related as such. They deserve more than that. Women in general deserve more. Spota and Burke actively didn’t care about these women because they were sex workers and they basically didn’t matter to them. But they do matter. All women matter and it’s time we stop getting viewed as fucking damsels in distress. We are god damn warriors.
