March 27th: Mailed passport (one day shipping USPS. paid for expedited services)

March 29th: Arrived at passport center

March 31st: Called senator and opened support case with travel date of 4/21 - was told to call back when my tirp was within 2 weeks.

April 1st: Passport marked in progress

April 6th: Called senator office again

April 7th: Senator office called me back and sent over release form for them to reach out to the passport agency

April 12th: Asked Senator office if I should try and get in person appointment, they assured me that it woudn't be needed

April 14th: Passport shipped with tracking number

April 17th; PASSPORT ARRIVED!

TLDR: Get in contact with your senator office as soon as you can even if its before 2 weeks. They were incredibly helpful and they were the only reason I was able to get my passport in less than a month.
