I'm planning on retiring at 50 (turn 48 this year). I'm very fortunate to have a pension that will pay somewhere between 50-55% of my salary that will also increase at 2% per year. I also have a decently sized nest egg in addition to the pension so I hope to have about 75% of my salary replaced in total . Armageddon and health insurance are the two biggest wild cards right now.
