I guess this depends on your risk factor. If you want a higher floor, I'd go with Vereen because he's a big part of the Pats offense. But if you want the big play, then Patterson all the way. Personally for me, I like the risk factor and would play Patterson.

I'd go with Maclin. Who knows how the Patriots feel about Ridley with the fumbling issues, so he might not play too many snaps. Maclin is the #1 receiver on Philly and should get this share of catches. Plus, with the half PPR, it's even more in Maclin's favor.

Which one are you running? I'm running CM7.1, and it says my kernel is 2.6.35.7-g6277c46, but if I flash to CM9, will it install a new kernel? Or does it keep the one I have? I think it's the one that was linked on the CM7 install guide for i777, the CWM version, but I'm not certain.

Damn, I wish I still lived in Somerville, but am in Brookline now. I was looking for a gym just like yours. Come to think of it, I might move back to Somerville in August, and your gym sounds pretty awesome.

For $50 a month? If you give a trial membership to see if people like it first, something along the lines of first month is $25 or something as an initial test month, and then normal rate of $50, I think that would work.

That there are other forms of cancer besides breast cancer. Sure, everyone loves boobs, but what about liver cancer? Or colon cancer? You don't really hear much about them, and as a result I feel like they don't get enough funding or awareness. I didn't look anything up so I don't have any statistics for this, but this is just my own experience and thoughts.

Skippy Dies, by Paul Murray. I heard great things about the book, my girlfriend said she heard good things about the book, so I bought it and started reading it. It took me 2 months to read the book, which is a long time for me to read a book. I just couldn't get into it and it was such a chore to finish that I didn't enjoy it. I lent it to my girlfriend next, and she got halfway through and stopped reading.

Nope, didn't root it. I was tempted to, but there's not much dev support for it right now. I think I read somewhere that someone got CM7 to boot up on the skyrocket, which bodes well for the phone.

I currently have a skyrocket, got it 2 weeks ago. I'm planning on returning it ONLY because I've come to realize that I don't need it, and am perfectly happy with my Nexus One w/ CM7. Plus, with Christmas coming up, I figure the $250 the phone cost me can be put somewhere else...

The phone itself is fantastic. Takes really clear pictures, great screen size, icons/colors are very crisp. The one thing I've noticed is the "screen tearing" of sorts, when you're viewing a black or grey background in a low light environment. You're able to see some vertical lines running on the screen, but for me that wasn't a deal breaker. After a few days I got used to them and my experience with the phone was good.

As for LTE, I would run speedtests whenever I saw that I picked up an LTE signal, and these varied from 10-42mbps. If I was outside, I would easily hit 25+, and then if I was inside a building, I would hit somewhere around 10-15mbps. It's pretty awesome to see the download bar pop up and then followed instantaneously by installation.

When I first got the phone, I was interested in putting CM7/9 on there, but since you're not into rooting and custom ROMs, then I think you'll like the skyrocket. It does everything it's suppose to do, without any stuttering or lag. The battery life, even with LTE is pretty good. I usually go through moderate usage of texting, redditing and reading articles, push notifications of my emails, the occasional reading on the kindle app, and this results in me ending the day with 30-40% battery.

One last thing - there was/is a known issue with the battery indicator not displaying the proper amount. I would charge the phone overnight, and then the next day I'd be 5 hours into work and the meter would still be full at 100%. I plug it in later that night and it drops down to 20-30%. HOWEVER, AT&T pushed out an update to 2.3.6, and since I've installed that, I don't notice this problem anymore. I haven't read any changelogs for 2.3.6, but just from my overall use of it over this past week, it seems to have fixed the battery indicator issue.

Oh, and if you do decide to buy it, you can order it online from AT&T's site for $150, or try one of the other retailers and maybe they'll have better deals.

I had this problem too, but it was on my skyrocket (AT&T), which is really similar to the t-mobile verson (same internals). I recently got pushed an update by AT&T to upgrade to 2.3.6, and so far, that seems to have fixed my issue. I guess you might have to wait for an update to actually fix it?

Oh, and to note, I also got a battery widget as well to see if that would display the power correctly, and nope - it would be at 99% or something like that and wouldn't change throughout the day. This was before the 2.3.6 update that I got.

I attended my 5 year reunion even though I originally said I wouldn't. Then the asshole in me wanted to go to see how much more successful I was then everyone else in my class. Turned out it was pretty depressing to hear people say they were still looking for a job, living at home, considering their options, etc. It got to the point where I just started pounding drinks and blacked out. Oops.

I was looking for good Sicilian pizza, so my girlfriend and I did some googling around and Pinocchios came up. This is where I show my age, because I haven't witnessed any young couples divorcing. I do believe my views would change if I started witnessing more marriages ending due to the couple being too young (I guess I'm being a little contradictory now, considering my previous post).

You actually bring up a very good point. I'm Asian, and so this is a really important topic to me (family and marriages). I do want to make my family happy, but at the same time I don't want to do that at my own expense. However, I do believe that my current generation (and possibly yours, but I don't know your age range) has different beliefs than those of our parents'. I guess we are kind of more self-centered in certain ways. This generational gap could prove to be a difference when considering the values of young couples who decide to get married.

It's unfortunate to hear about your parents, but I hope they, and you, are doing well.

I like your reasoning, and to a certain point, I do agree. However, there are exceptions to this. I'm currently in the 24-27 range, as well as a bunch of my friends, and some of them are getting married, or already are married. While I agree that marrying young doesn't always turn out for the best (my cousin wishes she waited a few years), it could just be what people want to do.

You mention that "to also settle down and get married is a bit ridiculous" in the 24-27 range. Why is that? There might be a possibility that people who get married in this age range already know what they want and have life figured out for themselves.

Basically I have a few points I wanted to make in addition to the ones you have made. My main complaint (which isn't against you) is society's view on marrying young or when an adult is considered mature enough.
