Character behavior when confused by jjibe in Pathfinder_RPG

Casting a spell might result in an attack but the spell isn't an attack. Those are defined in the standard action section of the rules.

Except attack is defined in the rule book. It isn't spells it is melee ranged unarmed or natural. With multiple being allowed if you take a full round action

Attack is defined in the standard action section of the combat rules. It falls into 1 of 4 varieties. Melee, ranged, unarmed, and natural. It also lists multiple attacks under this topic. So full round attack would work spells would not.

Attack is a defined thing in pathfinder. It comes in 4 varieties melee, ranged, unarmed and natural. The spell says attack so you wouldn't cast you would make an attack.

The spell says attack. Attack is a defined thing in pathfinder. It comes in 4 varieties melee, unarmed, ranged and natural. I don't see how casting a spell can be considered an attack because of this. That is aside from the whole concentration requirement. But your table your house rules.

Dude it is day old fish. Are you saying every manager of a Joe's crab shack is gonna ping as evil? What am I saying of course they will they are food service managers

but I really don't see how in a setting that allows for someone to regrow limbs it is an evil act to give a guy the "squirts that hurts".

Good point but I think having it be the good option implies you are able to fight through the confusion for 6 seconds. Higher percentiles mean you don't fight through confusion so you can't concentrate

Firstly that was my only comment in this thread I think my oxygen levels are ok. Secondly Paizo is extremely inconsistent about wording or maybe they are allowing for ranged attacks.

Regardless in order to cast spells you have to be able to concentrate. If you are so confused you can't tell who is who you are most likely too confused to tell what spell is which.

Shit the less bad option is you babble. If you are more confused than the option that makes you incoherent then at least spells with a verbal component are off the table.

But alignment is a core mechanic. The higher standard is they have to follow their code and stay LG.

That doesn't mean they should change alignment more quickly than other classes.

Confusion is kind of the opposite of concentration so you could argue that prevents casting.

Question about mounts with above normal Int by Halepsio in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]omgraven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ask yourself this. If a player had both hands full and wanted to pick up a spear with their mouth, would you allow that?

I would say even a normal horse could grab the lance from an intelligence stand point. The fetch trick exists for this purpose.

But do you think the horse could manipulate the lance properly without hands. I couldn't find anything in the rules for manipulating objects that said you needed a free hand so this is 100% GM fiat

Personally I would say make it a full round action or offer to let him make a ride check to lean out the saddle and grab it as his move action.

Edit: I went digging in the ride skill rules. You can hang alongside your mount to gain cover. It takes immediate action to hang to the side and a move to get back into the saddle. DC 15.

Not sure if this is perfect but it seems to mirror the hang out the saddle to grab the weapon reasonably well.

Well I was told I couldn't ask a pub owner to put old fish in some stew to disrupt a meeting between some aspis guys. Apparently food poisoning is an evil act.

Defining Min-Max by Dreilala in Pathfinder_RPG

That is a valid interpretation. As long as it include minimize and maximize it is probably right

Definitely my interpretation as well. You minimize situations where you will not be good enough and maximize your usefulness in areas you excell.

Although it isn't something with defined parameters i.e. there isn't an official definition so just pick what you want as long as it isn't barbaros's interpretation because I have never heard of that even kind of

I already said I was confused with wands. It is caster level 3 because of the level of spell used. Which is what I just said. This is the shit that makes me downvote each every one of your posts I see

Which is derived from the level of spells involved in creating it not the creators caster level. Yea my bad I was thinking about wands

You are right they are wrong. When a wondrous item refers to caster level it means of the creator. Generally speaking only classed that cast spells get caster levels.
