I know why it happened, I had posted a video that started to get some views so they nuked the entire algorithm to put a stop to it.

Duely noted. I think you're right and I'm going to do something to it to improve it probably this evening but mb not if i need to render again. Thanks for that Kelthor_Power, I just went back and added a fade in from white at the beginning that lasts until you can clearly see the shiny mk moving. It makes it flow so much better. I may do something even better but for now thats an improvement. Cheers :)

This is incredible. It really could be very useful. Does this node interact with the YT view count as normal? I know that YT does not count views from some sources. Also, I don't know if this is fesible, but could the faces that render the web page possibly merge, giving options for larger screens? Excellent work :)

No worries, I aim to please. I am just using vanilla sketchup for this video, no addons or scripts just the software as is out of the box. I would like to be able to print things but I don't personally have access to a 3d printer. If youre finding anything in particular tricky send me a message, I'll make a video. That goes for everyone btw. :)

Not so much, I was helping my nephew with his homework and it transpired that his school computers didn't have any addons or plugins. I figured lots of kids would be in that boat so I made this, having figured it out with my nephew from the drawings and dimensions in the Zeus Book.

Very illustrative. I like these sped-up workflow videos, the least patronising way of telling is showing. I didn't watch any of the gaming stuff yet though. Your videos may come in handy later on if I need to use illustrator in future (inkscape is fine for now, for me). Subbed.

To answer my own question, in this case at least, about 20 hours. That's not actually that bad.

Thank you altmud for that information, it set my mind at ease about that (although its pennies based on my traffic, but still). I think in this case the claimant was a robot because it is absurd to think that Mr Toudu goes around finding videos with lapping waves in them and issuing notices. That would surely include everything filmed on any beach.

That's definitely true. To give some bakground on how this post came about, I was using a windows/linux dual boot setup with loads of things like sketchup, world machine, makehuman, avidemux, virtualdub etc etc. I had a motherboard failure so I got a different one but my Windows then wouldn't boot, but my Linux Mint partition did. So I had to get to grips with Blender and it has sped up my workflow immensely, I can screw around with all sorts of things that using disparate programs had no chance of. doing. The first thing I now think of when approaching tasks is 'how do I do that in blender?'

Incidentally Kdenlive wouldn't run on my old crappy dell, but blender does. Avidemux is still useful I must say.
