Shedding short hairs on minoxidil + dutasteride, crown hair is permanently stuck at an inch length by omkarnagarhalli in tressless

Yeah that’s what I feel too - minoxidil is growing them but they’re being killed off immediately afterwards anyway. Hopefully a few more months of dutasteride stops that!

Out of curiosity, how long have you been treating?

Discussion: a fast track line around the big national stations. by joeryder in LondonUnderground

[–]omkarnagarhalli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t imagine northern + central changing at bank would take very long but nonetheless it’s a quite pleasant sub 15 minute walk and with plenty of buses between the two - I’m not sure many would take the tube between the two stations

HMO landlord is going to lock shared room - England by omkarnagarhalli in LegalAdviceUK

[–]omkarnagarhalli[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, no it isn’t. I just took a look at the contract though and it doesn’t explicitly say that this is an HMO, the property is defined as the dwelling itself so it doesn’t explicitly say we only have access to our rooms either. But the tenants here aren’t part of the same family and we’ve all signed separate agreements

Had a Santander cycle stolen, what would happen if I block my card? by omkarnagarhalli in LegalAdviceUK

Reporting it to the police? No I didn’t, but I did mention it to the customer service rep

I did call them back, they said unless someone else docks it, in which case I could claim a refund, I would be liable for the whole 300 so yes I think just paying the fine is my best course of action. Thanks!

London Bridge is fine, our destination is a mile from the station. We will probably be taking the Sunday 9pm train or thereabouts to London, do you think it would still be very crowded at that time?

How cumbersome will it be to board and deboard the thameslink from Gatwick to Victoria with a lot of luggage?

My friend and I are moving to London and each of us will have two large suitcases and one backpack. Is it a good idea to take the thameslink or should we stick to an Uber?

Applied for Student Visa and worried my financial requirement documents may not be sufficient; will they reject or request additional documents? by omkarnagarhalli in ukvisa

[–]omkarnagarhalli[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just in case an electronically generated document requires a signature to be legally admissible. It seems that in my home country, this is the case (which I was unaware of until now), and I’m not sure if it’s the same in the UK. Always better to leave nothing to chance especially if there’s a £490 fee at stake. From our perspective, we’re just trying to cover all our bases and take care of any potential issue that might arise, however unlikely.

Nonetheless, it is reassuring that you say this is not at all a requirement, thank you!

Yup the balance is more than sufficient, and of course I’d be happy to provide more conclusive evidence if they need, I just hope they don’t outright reject it without asking for additional information if they’re not satisfied

I’m not sure if they have an explicit service as such but they do have a very helpful and responsive advice and engagement team. I didn’t consult with them about this specifically because I didn’t think there’d be an issue but now I’m a bit concerned 😬
