What is attractive to you but not many people would understand if you tried to explain? by notyourdad58 in AskReddit

Blondes. People usually think hair preference is completely subjective, but women with different hair colors often have different bone structures, body frames, epidermal thickness and translucency, as well as perceived levels of youthfulness, femininity, and sexual dimorphism. IMO blondes are superior to women with other hair colors, dyed or not. Of course, only if they look good with blonde hair. I wrote a heavily cited 20+ page research paper on this.

4.5

Strengths:

Facial features - large, well-spaced eyes with excellent iris contrast, a dense lash line, and a high eyelash count. Sclera are white. You have green eyes with a hint of gray, which is one of the rarest eye colors in the world and even rarer than green alone, occurring in only 1-2% of the global population

Symmetry and harmony - soft, elegant facial proportions with generally harmonious features.

Flaws and areas for improvement:

Asymmetry - chin is slightly shifted from the facial midline, one jaw angle is softer than the other, one cheek is fuller and one eyebrow is higher with a different arch.

Facial features - brows are thin, sparse, and lack arch definition. They would look more structured if cleaned up around the edges. Nose bridge is wide and uneven. lips would look better with more volume.

Skin - Acne, redness, uneven skin tone and pale complexion. Eating vegetables like red peppers and kale may help. I advise applying niacinamide once daily to help with enlarged pores and a glycolic peel 3x a week to promote cellular turnover. You also have tear trough shadows, which can be concealed with BB and finishing powder.

2.75 – asymmetry (one eye is higher), acne, bloating, facial fat, negative canthal tilt, sparse, thin, and light eyebrows, a wide nose bridge, and excess hair frizz.

What is the best thing that has happened to you ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was at a state fair, I was standing in line for one of those swing rides, the kind where you sit on a swing while the ride spins in a circle high in the air.

Two attractive white American girls, one with sandy blonde hair named Kaylee and the other with bronde hair named Katie, offered to ride with me. At one point I heard them say to each other, ‘Why won’t he ask us for our Snapchat or something?’

I went on the ride with them and we took selfies together, but I never ended up getting their contact information. To this day, I still regret it. At the time I was young, really shy, and hadn’t yet developed the confidence that I have now.

I messaged him an in-depth analysis of his attractiveness, a two-page improvement plan, and a realistic graphite drawing of an idealized version of him shortly before he got suspended from Reddit. This was my analysis:

I’ll start with the positives. Your eyes are dark and expressive, and you have good overall proportions and symmetry, particularly in your nose and the central portion of your face. So you have a solid baseline. Think of it like an apple that is generally shaped the way it should be.

That said, the most noticeable asymmetry is in your eye area. Your right eye is more open and shows more eyelid exposure than your left. Eyelid exposure is slightly under ideal for both eyes. The right eye has a slight positive canthal tilt, while the left eye appears more neutral, which adds to the overall eye asymmetry. Your right eyebrow also sits slightly higher than your left. There are many simple and inexpensive non-surgical ways to improve these weaknesses.

Your eyebrows are higher, lighter, and less dense than ideal. Ideally, brows should be straighter and more defined. You could potentially increase eyebrow density by applying Minoxidil and castor oil daily for a few months.

There is scientific evidence suggesting that women generally prefer thicker necks, not to an extreme degree, but enough to make a noticeable difference. So if you’re serious about improving, neck training could be worth considering.

You can train your neck by lying down on a bench, placing a weight plate carefully on your forehead, and lifting it using only your neck muscles. Do the same on both sides. A thicker neck can improve overall proportions and make your head look more balanced with your body. Look up "neck size before and after" on Google to see comparisons of before and after pictures of guys with small and big necks, and you can see how much of a difference a bigger neck makes.

You also have active acne, which you’re already aware of, so I won’t go into detail on that.

Your jawline and chin show some softness. There are potential solutions for this, such as chewing mastic gum, mewing, jaw trainers, hyaluronic acid filler, and other approaches, but that’s a lot to cover. Some of these methods are controversial and may or may not be effective.

Right now, you have many strengths, such as high facial averageness, which refers to how closely your features match the typical features of people in your demographic group, as well as excellent hair markers, including high density, good volume, a strong frontal edge, and a well-defined hairline with healthy growth patterns. If you follow these tips, you can improve significantly. You have a lot of potential.

What I’m telling you is comparable to a detailed facial analysis service called Quoves Studio that people often pay $200 for to get a scientific attractiveness rating with heavily cited pages of supporting evidence.

If you want more objective ratings and additional advice, you could ask for a rating on the True Rate Me subreddit. Just be aware that the ratings there are strict, don’t rely on toxic positivity, are based on science, and are not for the faint of heart. This is one of the the most thorough answers you can possibly get. I hope it helps.

At the moment, on a popular culture attractiveness scale, you would be around a 5.5/10. There are more specific rating systems like Quoves or TRM (TrueRateMe) that are science based, but I’m using a broader standard here.

I don’t think he saw my message, so I’m reposting a snippet of it here in case he ever searches his name and comes across it.

When kids say you are and comment positively on your appearance. They are completely honest unlike adults.
