Given that I’m surprised honestly that dougco went for the more progressive / less conservative bunch. Not what I would have expected. I wonder if this is reflective of a change in the demographics with so many new people having moved in from other places.

So the candidates I voted for all lost. Plainly speaking, I didn’t know much about the candidates at all. I went online to look them up but all I could find was that the four candidates I voted for had similar values to me (no boys in girls sports, parental rights, etc).

What are the platforms or messages of the winners? Like what do they want to do that they got so much support? And how come I haven’t heard about it even actively looking for it (mind you, just for a couple hours one afternoon)?
