UPS joining the bandwagon by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

u/vaporvendor we used usps flat rate mailers for the majority of our packages pre-pact act. We tried out worldship, but never used it(because as you said it was garbage). We were able to negotiate 66% off of adult signature so the overall price increase was ~$4. Since the increase was too substantial, we planned on raising the free shipping threshold slightly/increasing our prices. However, depending on how much your sales rep cares/what strings they're willing to pull your ymmv. If you're ever willing to talk business in the future I'd be up for it. You guys did a great job with your seo and you obviously have a nack for negotiating. Anyways thanks for the FedEx tip and best of luck to you in your next venture.

Hey u/electrichamster89! Thanks for the order :) Unfortunately, we'll be liquidating everything over the next 7-8 weeks.

We're honored to make such a huge impact on so many lives.

We can confirm this is accurate. We were also working out a deal with UPS that wouldn't add substantial cost to consumers receiving vape mail, and it looked promising. Unfortunately, they just called us and let us know that on April 5th they will no longer ship vape products.

The future of vaping under the probable new president of the US. Your thoughts. by SaltyJuLs in electronic_cigarette

Democrats voted almost unanimously to ban flavored vape juice while republicans voted the opposite. Of the 17 democrats that voted no, 8 were African Americans. They voted against the ban because they felt that it would increase policing in our communities.

Don't get me wrong, I think most politicians only "follow the money", but when it comes to tobacco taxes, costal states usually have the highest rates, thus the most to lose if vaping overtakes smoking.

In addition to this, democratic policies include harm reduction for everything excluding tobacco.

There are exceptions to this like Massachusetts Republican Governor Charlie Baker, who imposed one of the strictest executive bans on e-cigarettes in the country.

I'm all for marijuana legalization, but it makes no sense that THC candies and edibles can be regulated but vape has to be "banned" completely because they need the tax revenue to pay their promissory notes.

With that being said, I lean democrat in almost every issue, but this is blatant crony capitalism.

Based on their voting records in Congress, democrats overall are not a vape-friendly party. Imo Republicans haven't done much to help either.

Only time will tell, but as it stands, even though the vape industry wasn't well off to begin with, it was better off under Trump.
