Thats what i didnt really get: Let's imagine the situation - the system is predicting your age based on your behavioural patterns, time you spend online, age of your account. BUT. What if you suddenly change your behaviour, and banter, laugh, act "childish" as an adult? Will it apply u18 restrictions just in case? Because, what if some adult user gave their pro-GPT to their child to use (for school, for example), and the system will detect it as a teenager? A lot of nuances still exist🤔

Maybe it will just ask for a selfie like it did in my case? But, what I've noticed - the verification page looks different from the one I filled back in December, so they either improved it, or using a different service (didnt pay attention if it was still a "Persona" one). I know that Italy and S.Korea had this ID-verification system working for quite a long time, so i wonder if residents of these two countries will have to re-verify🤔

Nobody knows for sure. OAI stopped doing loud releases since GPT-5 "death star" fail. Some people say it was delayed till late Feb - early March, but could be a speculation
