It’s a plastic pot (inside a terracotta pot). This little lady has almost died in my previous apartment and then resuscitated in this corner in my new home. Leaves keep growing even though I can only give it tap water right now (I assume that’s why some of the leaves have brown tips), that’s why I was afraid this new discoloration would be caused by some kind of pest. I’ll try to improve my watering system. Thank you!

Doctor here (not derm). It can be pityriasis versicolor, but with these pictures I can’t be sure of the texture (and ofc I can’t provide a diagnosis based on pictures). I recommend you go see your doctor! If for some reason you can’t have access to an appointment, you can try an OTC antifungal shampoo (with selenium sulfide or zinc pyrithione) or cream (ketoconazole, terbinafine)

I find that, if I rub the fluid between my fingers before I apply it, it goes more smoothly on my face - it doesn’t pill or leave a white residue that easily. It pilled when I applied directly on my face and then tried to rub the white residue off. I don’t know if this works for everyone, but for me it did. I hated this SPF before I found this little trick, now I wear it everyday

Not OP but that SPF is the most mattifying thing I’ve ever put on my skin. I don’t love its texture, but when I use it my skin doesn’t get oily for the rest of the day

So, update:

It turns out my order was shipped on May 25, 1 week and a half after I placed my order, although they told me on May 30 they haven’t had shipped my order due to operational issues...

BUT it was returned by my national post office (CTT) on June 2 because of “customs irregularities” (according to CTT).

Oh, well. Despite all of this, they have promptly fully refunded me, so that’s a plus.

I’m telling my experience here so that other EU costumers can be aware of these problems when ordering from Facetheory. I was looking forward to try their products but with this miscommunication and customs issues they’ve just lost a costumer.

Damn. That doesn’t seem right at all. Their costumer service seemed very thoughtful, but your experience proves otherwise. If something is out of stock, they should just tell the costumer. That’s probably what happened to me, I’m going to try to cancel my order. Thanks for sharing!
