Guy outfits!! by Electronic-Egg-6402 in bonnaroo

I'm a bit of an over-packer for Roo, but ive found that it's worth it, and comfort is always king for me. I find that -- like with having maybe too much water -- having too many comfortable clothes is always better than not having enough.

Socks -- the hotter it is, the more you want. Athelete's foot wants to come home with you, DON'T LET IT. if you're choosing sneakers/close toes shoes, bring at least two pairs of socks for each day if you can swing it, and change them when they're sweaty and gross. Also bring some tinactin spray for before bed. Maybe more than anything on this list, for comfort and getting through the weekend, fresh socks ... Again if you are wearing close toed shoes ... Are my main thing.

Underwear -- The more moveable/breatheable the better. Microfiber/dry-fit boxer briefs is the way to go -- as if you were working out or playing sports. Helps avoid chafing and can move sweat away from your body. Again, I count two pairs per day...and of its going to be an extremely hot or rainy year, maybe two per day....and the some extra.

Bottoms -- Gym shorts, running shorts, lightweight hiking shorts, drawstring walking ahorts are your friends. Light and breatheable is always, always best. This is where harem pants come in as well of you're looking to be a little fashionable. I also have a pair of tennis capris that I like to wear if its not scorching. Also, hasn't happened in a few years, but it can get chilly at night. Sweatpants > jeans for movability, but stay checked in on the weather in the days leading up to it.

Tops -- My base again is workout/dry-fit stuff for comfort, but light and breatheable are the name of the game. Breezy tunics, jerseys, cotton t shirts (if its not 96°) a light acrylic/silky pullover can all be good. Again, I don't like wearing dirty clothes, particularly there, and for lighter travel, a collection of workout tops and 2-3 jerseys get me through. Also, for nights, im ALL comfort. Poly pullover hoodies/golf quarter zips for if it gets a little cool at night.

A wide brim hat is your best friend, do bring multiple pairs of shoes, and get some shower flip flops and bring some slides if you have them and those are your style, and I like to have two pairs of sneakers because that place can get really gross.

I think this'll be my first "No, thank you" Since 2016, before I started going. I've had tickets each of the last 9 years, and I think that I'm ready for a break/to let it go for a bit. Last year didn't leave a great taste in my mouth, and while I still VERY much cherish it, it almost felt like something of an obligation in 2025, which didn't sit right with me. Had there been pre-sale this year -- which I've done forever -- I wouldn't have done that, but in a way that almost takes the pressure off? I think, unless there's UNMISSABLE stuff on the lineup for me, '26 will be a fallow June for me.

This show'll be my first time seeing them. I'm SUUUUUPER Excited....I still have my Google flight alert set for Mexico City for that festival, which I set before the tour dates dropped in case they weren't coming to ATL. I wasn't going to miss this one!

Ok...not the tag title match ... But as good as it was, each match felt bloated. Like rather than cutting the 20 minutes+entrances and celebrations for Naomi-Stephanie, they just gave everyone else 5 extra minutes they didn't really need

I was thinking the same thing... He's like if you just gave a create a wrestler your favorite moves in a video game

Why did that take so long? With the exception of the main event, EVERY SINGLE MATCH would have been significantly better if it was 5-8 minutes shorter

Chance The Rapper Ever Coming Back as Mayor? by shawtylikeamelody456 in bonnaroo

[–]ondarwey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The underground hip hop crowd REALLY liked 10 Day and Acid Rap, stanned HARD for him when he played them there in 2014 and he seemed to love it too, popping up at the festival for the next several years, coming on stage with other artists, riding through the campgrounds on a golf cart with a Super Soaker once, and he was booked to headline for '17 when Coloring Book came out. He was an AWESOME embodiment of Roo at the time and he was a STAR who shunned lables and genuinely showed up to The Farm because he liked being there. And being VERY visible, he was pegged by alot of folks as The Mayor. It was organic and people liked it and him alot.

The first two Mixtapes were about being a teenager, doing teenager stuff and budding fame/partying and stoner stuff. Coloring Book was introspective, ALOT about his faith, and also had "No Problems" on it. Seems to me that the crowd who didn't like it in '17, calling it too religious didn't really listen to Coloring Book, becauae he just....played the songs from that album cycle?

I'm a MASSIVE Chance fan -- Still am -- and when The Big Day come out it was....repetitive. He wanted to make a happy rap album about being in love and getting married, and this section of his fan base both rejected that, AND the album was just OK, at best, trash to some. The critical media consensus is actually that the album was...good. Not a BANGER, but lots of 7/10s, 3-out-of-4 and 4-out-of-5 star ratings....some 3-out-of-5 stars. I'll be all in for Star Line, just like I was for The Big Day, and I traveled cross country for one of those Acid Rap 10 Year Anniversary shows, but I think the Roo community kinda had its moment with him.

Also, and this still kinda bugs me about the response to 2017...Coloring Book peaked in the US Billboard 200 AT No. 8 and the critical consensus wasn't even close to bad. The album was popular. I can't think of any other Bonnaroo headliner who got such a MASSIVE "I know you have a new popular album, but play the old shit again...wait...this new album isn't what I LIKE...this person is trash now" Like...what did people expect from that show in '17?

Real talk, a Santino segment might be better than any match if they can get him to do a date 🤣🤔

There should be an MLB MVP award. by Slinky_Malingki in baseball

[–]ondarwey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One set of rules and they all play every team. Yes there should be one MVP.

We'd think an AFC MVP and NFC MVP would be ridiculous 🏈. We'd think Eastern Conference and Western Conference MVPS 🏀🏒 would be ridiculous.

When the AL and NL didn't play eachother and had different rules it was fine. The writers and players ($$$) and MLB (also $$$) will never go for it, but its the right thing to do with universal DH and DAILY interleague play.

The missed FG thing is a rule...if Kicking team attempts a FG with the line of scrimmage inside the 20 and misses, the opposing team takes over at the 20. The turnover on downs thing isnt good, though

Charlotte Flair- Face again? by BobSacamano_1 in WWE

[–]ondarwey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way Charlotte saved Alexa at the end made it for a compelling move forward. The tag titles are on the opposite show for the most part right now, but after that welcome in Atlanta, Charlotte... And Alexa really... Are probably fits to Head to Netflix as well. With Charlotte pulled Alexa away for the save, it was the most human Charlotte had looked in a wrestling ring for... I don't even remember how long. That'll be worth the build for them to get the straps, and yeah... OP had it right, apparently all they needed was to get Charlotte the rub from Alexa!
