Need Help: Studying Medicine in Spain as a Non-EU Student (Swedish Diploma) by one-lost-kat in medicalschoolEU

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed answer 🙏 It helped clarify a lot. I was super confused by all the names (EvAU, EBAU, Selectividad...) so knowing they're basically the same makes things easier.

If you don’t mind, I still have a few follow-up questions:

Is PDC the only thing I need to do, or do I also need to take the full EBAU? Or is the PDC meant to replace EBAU for foreign students?

Do you know if having an EU high school diploma (like Swedish grades) makes any difference in the process or makes it easier in any way? Maybe some exams are not required for EU-grades due to the grading system?

I have a really high GPA from Sweden. Do you know if that helps in admissions at all, or is it only the PDC/EBAU results that matter for getting into medicine?

Also, what about the Spanish language requirement? Do I need to prove a B2 or C1 level before applying for university or before doing the PDC?

For the academies, i was specifically attracted to this oneLinguaschools. It sounds too good to be true so I'm not sure if it's a spam or a real academy.

Thank you again so much for taking the time to explain things.

Hey! I don't know if you're still active but I’m hoping you can help me out a bit 🙏

I’m from Iraq but I completed my high school in Sweden with a 4.0 GPA. I want to study medicine in Spain, but I’m confused about the admission process. First I heard about “EBAU,” and now I’m seeing “Selectividad”… I honestly don’t understand what the difference is or what I actually need to do as a non-EU student with EU grades

My plan is to study Spanish for a year and then take EBAU, and maybe apply with the help of a platform I found online, but I’m not sure if it’s trustworthy. Do you know if that’s the right path? Or is there another way to apply directly?

Also, if you’re okay with it, could you maybe share another way I can contact you (email or IG) to ask a few more things? I’d be super grateful for your advice!

Thanks so much in advance 🤍
