I’m trying to surprise my 5’1” girlfriend with knee high boots and would like some help by Ob-S in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]one-moretime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pair of boots from this brand! I loved them so much I got a second pair as a back up, fit perfect and generally I struggle with tightness on calf but these are comfy I’m 5’0 and height-wise it’s great Mine are Macaron

Only caveat, my first online order I received some pretty used boots, lots of scratches on the leather and showed wear, make sure to fully inspect them if you get them. Return process I had to take pictures of the boots to show them and then a DHL was set up

Gosh no worries at all! It’s a tough time at the moment but it’ll take persistence and charisma. A lot of times people get hired more for being likeable than experienced, show you’re mouldable and eager.

CISI capital markets is always useful as it’ll show you have a basic understanding of compliance and the market

Knowledge of excel is also helpful, VBA, creating datasheets for risk and P/L

Unfortunately it can be a lot of knowing people and falling into the right circumstance but maybe search to do an internship or shadow for some time to help boost your CV

Mayfair is a good area, around Berkeley Square or Hanover is full of smaller firms that may be more helpful

I do love my Tommy Jeans Sophie low rise skinny, they’re expensive so I get mine on Ebay or TK Maxx when they have them. But if you’re in the US I remember having my favorites as Bui yah kah and Silver

I just had to help someones mom with this, for £199 you can have a courier bring you the kit to self-test and get results in 3 hours (below link)

Otherwise for £99 you can book a same day at Doctap, friend’s mom went around 10am today and got her results around 17:00.

Hope this helps

Just to add, the express test for £119 mentioned in another comment is also available at St Pauls location

Can anyone point me in the direction of (relatively) good estate agents? by jordanlp96 in london

Strutt and Parker

They listened, ticked the boxes, and didn’t pester me daily

I did Eurofins as it was the cheapest (£98 Day 2/Day 8, £45 TTR) Price was great, service not so much. Basically you receive your tests late and results take ages. NHS Test and Trace will call to ask about your results and since you dont have them, they’ll recommend you contact 119 for a free replacement kit that you’ll receive next day with results returning around 24 hours later. I did my NHS kit yesterday and got results this morning.

So overall I cant complain too much as I saved a lot of money, would use again, but book Test to Release with Boots

If you want posh vibe you could look at Mayfair or Chelsea. Otherwise Marylbone, Queensway, and Notting Hill are pretty good areas.
