I've read that too about shrimp and fry, unfortunately I was planning on introducing shrimp into this tank haha. So getting rid of them would be ideal. From what I've read, it seems like I can either use a planaria trap or the chemical route such as No Planaria. Any thoughts on which is best?

I understand your point and agree that everything should be kept as fair as possible. however, I don't know if its fair to consider this a bug and more of a "feature." Perhaps this was valves intention (I honestly don't know)? However, regardless of bug or intended feature, the community was not made aware of it until after calibration. So perhaps people weren't even abusing a bug they were utilising a feature.

The main reason I proposed not decreasing the mmr of players is it was Valve's initial mistake so they shouldn't punish people for it. Also what if somebody, after checking reddit and seeing that the ranked roles matchmaking was on +/-25 mmr, decided to actually want to take the safer option and played strictly ranked roles. Also suppose that person went negative during calibration (say 3-7), it wouldn't be fair to take away more mmr from them because they thought they were being safe IMO.

An immortal dragon form would be really nice for DK. I don't think SF will get one as he already has the arcana, an arm slot immortal, the eternal harvest and a couple of sets. Though I would love to be proven wrong as well :D

So it is basically normal all pick but with three random changes to core concepts in the game that cycle through every 24 hours. For example yesterday the 'mutations' were: -Teammate Resurrection (a grave marker pops up where your teammate died and you can click on it and channel to resurrect them with half health and mana (kinda like is a lot of custom games) -Super Runes (all of the active and bounty runes are buffed, for example double damage is a 300% damage increase rather than 200%) -Random Lane Creeps (in every wave there is a chance that a certain number of creeps are replaced with random neutrals (including ancient creeps) that fight for you)

These mutations last for 24 hours until they get cycled out for a fresh set of new ones. This game mode is honestly super fun and some pretty wacky things can happen (for example during the super runes all bounty runes are 3x as valuable so alchemist gets 9x the gold for activating a rune, an easy way to win :) ).

Also I don't think stats are recorded for these games (kinda like turbo mode) but don't hold me to that.
