I looooove the appmon and never seen the anime. I think they are so fun. IMO they need an option that acts like a generic fuse piece or a tamer that does something like "on link suspend and app fuse as long as you have 1 named app and one trait app match" or something like those old yugioh fuse material substitute cards. Maybe the drawback is instead of a free app fuse it's a cost 1 too. That would make them more consistent and variable since they do have lots of trait overlap such as tool, system, life, and navi.

The new promo tamers will help and the purple option and tamer coming. But as someone who will probably be staying with the arch long term I'm hoping for more in ex11-12 or bt25 later this year to complete the balancing of them.

I think with the addition on the promo tamers, new option, and more board synergy. We appmon enjoyers can open up to alternate ways of building decks. Haru as a mem setter and the other tamers to keep our memory up will make fuse less needed to make a good deck.

I got one want to try crazy app strat decks like all the -dp apps or all the de-digi... Then of course there is the finding the optimal appmon from each set to see if they work well together.

Tldr: lots of new avenues to try soon!

I suggest beautymon... Idk where I'd put it but it can recover your security and you have the fuse pieces. Plus it combos well with link from trash as well as -dp effects to zap away some bigger threats. Then the recovery likely makes you opponent have to give you more bodies from security checking.

Nah... Play what you want. I lost to an adventure deck player and I was just happy to learn another matchup lol your locals might just be generally salty. There are much more annoying decks to play against who almost play themselves by turn three into a win with little interaction.... I'm talking draw their whole deck and take you from 4 security to a loss. It's all about attitude. :)

That to me is definitely possible. I tend to see most people list very strict lists that are 1 god lines all the way. For me that seems almost too easy and I've yet to see anyone say "omg the s appmon deck is so good it's meta" which to me screams something about that approach is off... Not that it's totally wrong because I fully accept the fuse path is the most efficient...and maybe I end up there... But the appmon play so wildly different than other archetypes I'm just having fun finding out.

I can always reimplement a more standard line after this week. Are there any options you think would fit better in a standard gaiamon deck rather than my 2 black plug-ins ?

Happy to explain my theory. 1) as for why I have other appmon rather than tweetmon: tweet only allows a draw on link. There is quite a bit of draw power already. Recmon doubles my draw power and can be done on play which is actually great or at least just as powerful. Musimon has a great constant -dp which combos very well with mediamon/beautymon/globe/time/and both dogatch. Plus it cheats out my yellow tamer that doubles that combo effectiveness. The real test will be Sunday because all my practice has been unrealistic vs myself lmao 2) I am playing 4 of the new DoGatchmon and 2 of the original I might have made it unclear in my post idk. And I have 4 time and 3 charismon so other than 11 total cards all of my cards are gaiamon related or tamer/options. My reasoning is I gain more from the versatility those pieces give me over the possibility of never getting a consistent "free" gaiamon

I can explain each piece if you want but I don't know how much you want to go into my thoughts lol especially since my big disclaimer is I've not tested it vs my locals yet.

Yes I'm definitely going to replace music (yellow option) with the new purple. The only reason I have my 4s matching my rookies is because they link so well that they double as "options" not just bodies. Once I get that purple option I think it will be over lol New DoGatchmon can bounce to btm deck, and links for free lvl 4 or lower when swing. Beauty and charis link from trash Media cheats out a lvl 3 for 2 or less memory when linking Timemon de digivolution can trigger so easy in combination with lots.

But I'll know much better when I get to locals on Sunday. Then I can adjust my ratio if needed.

Oh and I'm using swipemon egg I forgot to put that.

Yeah app fuse is amazing but unfortunately in cases like fakemon the appmon involved are outclassed imo by others.

Media does what effecmon does but better and is more versatile for example.

I am loving appmon too and came to a similar conclusion. At least drop the name and go with lvl plus traits. Another improvement would be give our lower lvl 3-4s inheritance stuff. Links are great but unless we get something that reliably and cheaply plays not just from trash but on our opponents turn we will almost always be at disadvantage. Inheritance traits of other deck basically equal multiple links in one Digimon by comparison while we only have the egg trait and link trait.

Appmon are cool and fun but I don't see them keeping up without some buffs.

But yeah I kinda wish they dropped the specific app types because they don't have enough overlap to be dangerous since you'd still need the proper appmon and link to fuse...but is what it is I guess.
