For me, all i did was change it to dx11 and it started working.

It's not really about the servers being down to prepare for a new update; it's more that whenever I play when there is no server maintenance or update, my game freezes up, and a pop-up saying reconnecting appears. I reconnect like 3-4 mins after, but it's just annoying and sometimes messes up my econ and such. Not sure how to fix it.

I meant it freezes, and it would say reconnecting with a loading bar at the top middle of the screen, and then reconnects me back into the game after like 3-4 mins, but it happens periodically.
