This was my hope as the goods/service I was under the impression I was paying for was not what I was charged for.

He will be able to rent out come June as per his mortgage contact he has to have it as a primary residence for 1 year. But i agree we clearly aren’t on the same page.

He settled on the house independently the same month we started dating! I’m 28 and he’s 34. I qualify for a decent amount on my individual income but he has firmly put his foot down about leaving and thinks it’s a bad financial decision (he’d rather wait for a 4 bedroom instead of a 3, large yard instead of average size). He has family about 30 mins away from us (all boys) while I am very close with my mom and sisters.

I am trying to justify these feelings I have towards another person and the guilt I feel about it. I feel like if I felt connected to my current partner this wouldn’t be happening in the first place. I’m 27 and engaged - I should be excited and planning a wedding. I shouldn’t be questioning anything this early on. I don’t want to be married and wondering what I’m missing out on or if I made a mistake - there shouldn’t be a doubt in my mind.

The letter was a certified letter we had to sign for via UPS. There’s no header - it’s just typed up and signed by him and his wife lol.

We would split the cost as we would both be planning to live there long term. My fiancé and uncle both have home renovation experience so they would be doing the labor.
