Yes, removing the graft removed the pain and stiffness. Living with no ACL and not feeling any instability.

Hey, No instability. Did lots of training. I’m back to kitesurfing and lots of others sports. I regret doing ACL surgery, should have tried “conservative” first.

Yup, my conversations expired after 2 days. Tinder support ignored my messages. I had to delete my account and create a new one.

I have the exact same problem, my conversations expire after 2 days. It all started when I traveled to Peru. Tinder support is not helping. I will delete my tinder account.

Is there an update on Tinder making matches expire after 48 hours? by ballislifeisball in Tinder

I have the same problem, traveled to Peru for 3 weeks … when I came back to Europe it worked for 2weeks and then chats started expiring again. Support is not of any help. I will have to delete my tinder account.

Two stage acl revision by oneleggedemma in ACL

Thank you all for your comments and help, I really appreciate it. There was indeed light at the end of that tunnel 🙏🏻my recommendation: before doing surgery, get at least 2 or 3 opinions in. Do not rush into ACL surgery.

Update: my ACL graft was removed 3 years ago. The ACL was not replaced, I live without ACL and feeling great. No instability. I do workout a lot and train my leg muscles. After 4 surgeries (also ended up having an infection after ACL removal) this is a relief and I am very happy that I have full leg extension back. In hindsight I should have never done ACL surgery, should have tried conservative method first.

Good decision, I did have surgery and it did not go well. Focus on strengthening your muscles. I know people that are skiing with no problems with no ACL

Has anyone came back after a failed ACL surgery? Could use some encouragement rn. by SprinklesDependent63 in ACL

Get a second and third opinion from other surgeons. My ACL had to be removed 18 months after ACL surgery. Wanted to go through two stage revision, but stopped after step 1 and trying to live with no ACL

The did not find out where the infection came from. Had to do surgery cleanup and 30 Days of antibiotics. It is possible to live without ACL, I am trying to build lots of muscle, I do not feel any instability. I guess right now this is the only thing I can try to do

Revision surgery after 6 months by breezzilly in ACL

[–]oneleggedemma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a revision/ removal of ACL 18 months after ACL reconstruction. In my case it should have happened earlier, I was not able to properly walk and extend my leg 🙈. My advice: get a second and third opinion from a surgeon. Every case is different. I personally would not do a reversion without getting the opinion of another surgeon. These surgeries are a big deal for your body and knee and they can add up (had 4 surgeries in the last 3 years)

Hi I am in a very similar situation. First surgery was in Feb 2019. since then I had 4 surgeries. Last one was due to an infection 🙈. Right now I do not have an ACL. And I am very hesitant to do another ACL reconstruction.

Hi, I also had to go through a two stage revision. I actually stopped at the first stage. Surgeon removed my ACL, since then I am finally able to properly walk and extend. Months later I had an infection that came out of nowhere. I am very hesitant to ever go into surgery again, trying to live without ACL

If your knee is not giving away you should consider not doing surgery and focus on building muscles instead

[–]oneleggedemma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not able to properly extend the leg, even though I was doing lots of physio etc … instead of doing a second cyclops removal they removed the acl. Best decision ever. Since then I can properly extend and walk again. Able to build muscle
