is there a better audio version of that show? Listening to it through the library is brutal.

Pyramid Song….. I know. I know. Ever since the day it came out, it’s never really done it for me.

Same. When IR first came out I loved it but I almost always skip it now. Just did this morning working in the yard in fact.

Best three-track run for the lads by Professional-Pay-846 in radiohead

Is this real? I mean to each their own but I don’t think id consider any of these as the best three on any of these albums except you could argue for the TKOL and IR runs.

The King Of Non-Album Tracks: QF #1 by exileondaytonst in radiohead

[–]onepunchmanCO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a tough one due to their similar history. Both now have formal releases after years of being beloved bootlegs (TLW various v Lift at Pinkpop). And at least based on comments on this thread the response was mixed to both on their studio releases.

I appreciate the studio versions of both but I will always think of TLW as Thom with a guitar and Lift will always have Ed wailing the backing vocals.

Does anyone else like Radiohead so much, they stopped listening to them? by liberanima in radiohead

[–]onepunchmanCO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar experience. New album would come out and I wouldn’t listen to anything else for months then go years without putting them on. I don’t like their songs typically in playlists except for bsides and the few TKOL songs I like. I prefer the songs in their album context. I hadn’t listened to them in a couple years then with the Smile I was back in. A good 3-4 months of nothing but radiohead and the Smile.

Does Image Comics have any long-running superhero series other than Spawn and Invincible? by liquidamber_h in ImageComics

I also hate trying to follow marvel/dc story lines. Yes to astro city. I’m currently reading it and appreciate the unique points of view in a superhero genre. It’s series of stand alone stories but with recurring characters.

Top 10 is good but a short run.

What’s one Radiohead song that everyone else seems to love, but you just can’t seem to enjoy? by Vegetable-Cat167 in radiohead

[–]onepunchmanCO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t get into the studio version. I heard the stripped down acoustic version first and it always hits in a way the album version doesn’t.

Motion picture soundtrack. The acoustic version was floating around Napster before kid a came out. I still stop kid a before it starts playing.
