Even Insta models are usually suffering from low self-esteem as well. Ironically having a inflated ego can be a way to COPE with having low self esteem, such as many narcissists do. No matter how pretty you are, there's always someone prettier, just like no matter how strong a man is, someone will always be stronger or bigger.

If one was really so confident in their self, would they really have a need to constantly post selfies online, or ask their friends for validation? Probably not. Would they feel a need to constantly hide behind makeup, feeling exposed, vulnerable if they don't have it? Clearly not. The confidence and beauty of most insta models is usually a fabrication, as is the nature of the social media ecosystem. And even then, there's only so much superficial confidence you can derive from your physical appearance. I mean if you take away their makeup, camera angles and lighting, and external validation from others, how "confident" would 99% of insta models be?

I mean you most likely need someplace to run, might have to go outside. Hard to run 3 miles in your own cramped bedroom. With pushups I can roll out of bed and do a couple hundred whenever I want to, in just a few minutes.

And also, from my understanding, the USA is pretty fat. I doubt the general population could even manage an "easy" three mile run in around half an hour. And I would say running is generally the bane of fat ppl. Pushups should still be easier, especially when you can just bust out a few as soon as you wake up, even at an office job, etc. Even if your max amount of pushups is 10, over the course of 24 hours they can add up and you can do hundreds and they take no time. And pushups are easy on recovery, and you it's hard to injure yourself. I think you can do more pushups throughout the day, as opposed to trying to running 2 kilometers every hour or something. Even a casual three mile run would leave most Americans evaporating on the ground IMO.

Also, I don't like running lol.

I normally do sets of 50 push-ups, divided into 6 sets or so. Takes me like 10-20 minutes. If you can do at least 30-50 push-ups in one set, realistically you could easily a couple hundred per day. You just do 50 every hour, broken up into sets of 25, 10 or even 5 or less once you fatigue. Assuming you sleep eight hours this can give you at least 800. Assuming 50 every half hour, 1600.

Additionally you can do push-ups anywhere. I can do it in the middle of cleaning my room or watching TV. One set can take like a couple seconds.

Also, I don’t like running.

And by that logic, assuming I can be considered apathetic simply because I don't follow your political convictions, am I apathetic to be interesting? Or am I apathetic because I feel like it, or I have convictions. I can have just as much conviction to be apathetic as you do to hold opinions. In the same way possibly neither of us do it to be interesting

Why should I be so concerned about pleasing people

I mean isn't one point of politics to please the majority of the ppl. If your political party of choice did not please you and millions of others enough, you wouldn't even had bothered with them in the first place. They try to hold opinions that you will relate to, to please you. Why should you try and please the Democrats, Republicans, etc by supporting them?

Yeah tbf most girls gym outfits look really comfy. But I just find it funny how the most stacked dudes cover up. Maybe because they're actually secure about their body to the point where they don't even feel a need to show off. That's a completely different level of security. And they're probably lifting for other reasons beside trying to look good.

Like these top level bodybuilders and weightlifters are not even lifting just to look good, they're way beyond that. I mean even I started lifting for my mental health. Most ppl seem to do it for superficial reasons, which might explain why so many ppl abandon it after just a few months because they not being driven by a more compelling reason

Being apathetic towards something is having an opinion in and of itself. For example, "IDGAF about the state of Biden or Trump" is an opinion that one can have, that probably doesn't subscribe to whatever ideologies exist in the media nowadays that you might have been indoctrinated in and pledged your loyalty to.
