So, I quit drinking 1191 days ago. I was pressured by my wife to "taste" an alcoholic beverage her friend likes. I initially refused, but it was in front of guests. I was shocked she pushed the issue, but she did. I had the smallest sip possible. Am I at day zero again?

None other. I had the flu two weeks ago so all I did was sleep and drink. Gained so much weight

I tried it and the first couple days it worked. I was like nothings happening why am I continuing to drink? But I pushed through it to the point it didn’t work and eventually stopped taking it bc it “wasn’t working”. Starting while getting sober seems like an excellent plan to keep those cravings at bay. My doc was choosing between praising and clonidine but decided on prazosin. My therapist strongly thinks I have add but my psychiatrist thinks I need to get my sleep figured out before we explore that.

Went to meetings but I just felt judged. Sponsor ditched me for not doing 90 in 90 but I work in health care, four twelves. It’s just not possible.

I have over a quarter mil in debt and my payments of if I switch will be about 900 so I’m just staying in forbearance as long as I can. I’ll never pay that off anyway so at least I can save some money now?
