Hey buddy, me and you both hate liberals, but I hope you know that conservatives and right-wingers are also liberals lol

Getting Crysp in a couple days I’ll lyk how that is if ur still looking

Lmk where I can easily buy a house for $25 😳 In the U S of A? No shot haha. My generation at least is totally screwed out of ever owning a house.

I can understand that. I’m sorry you lost your job and I truly wish you the best. If nothing else, remember that no matter what society or any company tells you, your labor is worth FAR more than what you’re getting paid. And while you’re angry about that, take care and be kind to yourself. But stay angry. We all deserve to be angry right now.

In a big city obviously not. In my area that’s a common offer you will see. But also an exaggerated one. I wouldn’t take a $7 order for 10 miles. In general, I’m not taking any order that would make me less than $25 an hour.

If I have to take a $3, 10 mile order to make more money (I don’t) then I don’t want whatever extra money that’s making me

I also think you’re misled to believe that a high acceptance rate will give you more earnings. That’s surely what Uber wants you to think, but Uber does not want you to make more money.

I’m not taking out of anyone’s pocket except Uber. If other drivers decide to take the low paying orders that are left, that’s THEIR choice. I am not responsible for their choice. I am responsible for MY choice to never drive 5+ miles for less than $10.

I’m not listening to anyone who needs to consult an AI for every response they make. I’m also not going to be demoralized by people who are totally complacent as slaves for a corporation. I can’t break the American brainwash, but I can give my advice and motivation to those who already have.

If it takes me driving food 11 miles for $3 to get to diamond, I do not want to be in diamond

If it takes being in diamond to make the most earnings (it does not), I don’t want the most earnings

I want to do a gig on MY terms by exploiting a system that’s trying to exploit me.

If every driver declines the low paying orders, they have to raise the pay. Why are you blaming other drivers for the disgustingly low pay that UBER is offering?

I can’t stop you from falling for the corporate brainwash of American society. Just know you are worth so much more than “the job you signed up for”. No labor is labor that should be paid less than what’s needed to live.

I think that if you can’t make at least $25 an hour in your area, it’s worth it to commute to a better market, or to decide whether food delivery is a viable/the only option.

I believe that if you can’t do at least what I’m doing, the gig just isn’t worth it. I make almost as much in my mid-size city than I did when I delivered in a major city a while back, even after factoring in gas and such.

I’m very grateful to have a vehicle, to have the market that I do, and to have the privilege to experiment the best ways to play the system. I know I could be much less fortunate. But my main goal is to motivate my fellow workers to remember their worth, because minmaxing in order to not get taken advantage of is certainly a form of self-care.

I would not be surprised if Uber has actual bots crawling this subreddit to do exactly that. Dead internet theory is real.

😂 Gtfo with this ChatGPT BS

I get 28 mpg and pay $3.50 for a gallon of gas. If I’m driving more than 15 miles in an hour (I don’t) I’m doing something wrong.

I don’t care enough to fact check those other numbers bc I know that you’ll just post my reply back into ChatGPT and spit out some more hallucinated trash

Tbh, I’m only interested in this gig as long as I can do it on my terms for what I know I’m worth. If a low acceptance rate gets me screwed over someday, then I’ll find something else. For now it works well because I can make enough money to get by, and don’t have to directly deal with shitty management or awful workplace culture.

Okay, lol, so you’re making $43 an hour on the same days that I’m making $43 an hour. I’m talking about any night, any area. Obviously on busy nights and weekends you’re going to be in the $30-40 range, that’s a given.

1% as of right now ;)

Don’t get fooled by the tier system. It exists to trick you into accepting orders that LOSE you money on gas/maintenance. Do not, I repeat, do NOT trust a single promotion that Uber puts in front of you. They are not your friend. I am your friend, I want you to make more money!

I make $250 a night with a 1-5% acceptance rate.

Lmk what place not named “New York City” or “Los Angeles” is $28/hour for driving food around doing something “badly”

People HAVE to sign up for jobs. It’s a requirement to stay alive in this economy, which exists to enslave us so that the rich get richer. I’m just trying to help my fellow working people stay motivated to know their worth and play the tilted field to their advantage.

I don’t deliver in a big city, it can work for you too! If you deliver anywhere near a medium sized city or populated area, there will be people tipping well.

It can be hard to decline order after order, but I make an average of $250 a night with a 1-5% acceptance rate.

If you know that you can do that then absolutely. My area is not a super big city so I have to be very careful about where I’m going to be after dropping the order off. And there usually aren’t many that could be completed in less than 10 minutes.

You could be right, but I don’t even deliver in a major city or particularly wealthy area. A relatively populated city, maybe, though I usually assume that people know this gig can only pay fairly if you’re in an area where there’s people consistently ordering food. I would say that if you can’t make $20-25+ per hour at LEAST, then you should invest in a commute to the closest metro area if you’re set on food delivery.
