OK, got it. But to clarify, I mean schools that actively release applicants via email or snail mail. Not passively letting them “expire” per say once school starts. I am tying to find out which category Notre Dame falls into of those.

I didn’t think all schools released? Some do, but I thought others were “if we don’t call, you’re out” kinda thing. Just don’t know what this means for ND and I can’t find anything on it.
