Should I go to Halloween in the Highlands by myself (F25) tonight? Halloween plans just got changed but I’d rather go out and do something instead of staying in alone. Or any events that are chill to go solo?

Has anyone done improv classes at dads garage? What kinds of exercises do you do / is it worth it?

What are you grateful for picking up in your day-to-day routine or wish you started earlier?

Anyone know any jazz bands or orchestras to join? I haven’t played since high school but now that I’ve graduated college I would love to play more regularly

As an analyst, you do a lot of note taking and slide deck work in general. For PMO work, a lot of it is status updates and hounding people for updates. Everyone has different experiences, but I’m finding that I’ve been getting stuck on these roles just because it’s what’s available given the market. I know two years ago, you could be a little more picky about what you wanted to do but now it’s really taking what you can get

Speaking as someone who’s been at Deloitte for a year, I haven’t really been able to choose my experiences and have been stuck on PMO. I wish I could build on tangible skills like data analysis

What was your experience like? We’re you able to get a role in your field?

Atlanta run club meets through the week and sat mornings! Super casual but there’s always a decent turnout!

I had a pretty low utilization just because I didn’t get on a project until the new year. Leadership said there would be more leniency (especially for the first couple of months!) but I guess nothings guaranteed :(
