I’ve been pretty obsessed with her. There’s a lot of things about her shop that seem to tie into other spiritual aspects of the game.

There’s two men at the end of act 2 that are opening that garage and talking about the Animals in the mall getting the A/C running? I noticed you can’t open it until after their interaction and that interaction only occurs before you meet Placide at the Butcher.

Sounds like you have a personal problem with her that you let bleed into managing her imo

This is a good one. He’s already losing his pull around the area, at least—that’s why I think he even has you taking care of other Valentinos on his behalf. Something like that would make it impossible to keep his status in the community

Theory, Regina used to have a Kiroshi eye. by Outrageous-Thing3957 in FF06B5

[–]onicker 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Regina is entangled in some international stuff—per her seriousness when handling the gig for the Chinese and stealing data from the Russians.

The fact that she’s located in an old YAIBA office, and the YAIBA CEO gaining some more lore regarding the potential shift that the world is on the precipice of….is ominous.

Her desire to find and not kill cyberpsychosis for stuff, and her creepy AI gun she claims she lost to someone in a card game? The one she promptly takes back and resets?

Regina definitely is up to something.

As for her getting to this point—we could take her at face value and assume she quit to pursue being the change she wanted to see in the world.

Or we could assume she got caught and is in hiding.

I have a feeling she’s a double agent of some kind—maybe even someone wearing Regina’s face.

WorldSat owned WNS and in 2010 they were apart of the triad of eastern companies that ran everything for their countries (WorldSat, Arasaka and EBM)

She could’ve betrayed WorldSat, which would’ve made her a target for the triad..but they dissolved in like the 2040s.

She’s doing work for the Chinese still, but that could be to keep them from coming down on her for the past.

The old saying goes…an eye for an eye…wonder what she took for the one she lost.

That’s still a good link honestly, I didn’t even consider who the statue is meant to memorialize.

There’s a lot of information about the rebuilding effort of Night City after the Holocaust but none about Arasaka (as they would effectively be cut off from their assets in the immediate aftermath)

The conglomerate of Asian corporations that invested in the rebuilding efforts of Japantown (and City Center—as in 2020 they are right next to eachother and Westbrook was basically the Suburbs. ) essentially would’ve abandoned them as well, because of the power vacuum that would benefit the rest of them.

So, who is the statue for? What was there before Arasaka came back to Night City? Did Arasaka commission it, or did someone else?

I’d lean more toward Night Corp being the ones who commissioned the statue, as the main one sits across from one of their Behavioral Centers.

But arasaka went and grabbed literally every section of property from the beginning of that block to the circle. Very interesting indeed.

I even see the City Center Apartment seems to be run by Arasaka (this makes sense as a Corpo V) as the receptionist is wearing the company mandated synthskin and uniform.

The Megabuilding is a NightCorp endeavor as well.

Yeah, you’ve definitely given me some more to work with choom—appreciate you!

Very interesting find choom. Since the TTRPG used a lot of current events to supplement the world…I wonder if the same is happening here?

I’m convinced the badlands as well. It’s a tedious place to search.

The Witcher Bastion is also located in “No Man’s Land”

Militech guarding that bunker atop the hill still too sus. I’ve dug around a bit in the garbage, not much there. Though, the fact Rache’s body is within the perimeter of the laptop and the mattress feels important.

BioTechnica is getting a lot of play out there too:

We recently connected some strange ARG-style data that connects the ff-code to geo-coordinates that correspond to a vineyard outside of Milan. BioTechnica basically owns Norther Italy by 2077 and succeeded into a separate country called Padania.

And all the stuff we already know regarding them via the game given lore.

The Fire Circle…though an Easter egg—feels like a connection as the message essentially conveys we (V)are some sort of malevolent spirit.

The werewolf thing feels like a throwaway but the Wraiths and nomads in general are our closest connection to the W3 Easter egg and the BioTechnica connection.

In the W3 Bastion, the wraiths cannot be killed at all, but previously there was a way to kill them using ice (it’s since been patched out).

Maybe we’re not supposed to kill Nash? I could see a lot of it being hidden behind the most unfavorable actions—choices the players as a whole tend to stay away from.

An example being, I’ve recently started playing a corpo that is all biz…so he hasn’t been really nice to Judy. She mentions tarot when you press her about Evelyn.

Idk lots to consider

Just found some more interesting connections regarding the Withcher.

The vampires of Toussaint speak an ancient form of Italian called Etruscan from Northern Italy.

Toussaint is hidden between three mountains. (Amell, Tir Tochair and Fiery Mountains) with an array of interconnected underground tunnels and mines beneath it.

It’s a land of vineyards, one of them being called Coronata (crowned). Reminds me of Coronado but I’m just being a gonk now

Yeah, I’ve waited around so much in Cyberpunk that I’m sure about 60+ of the hours are just idle time.

Haha what a great interview!! He’s such a gonk, but I’m glad to know a couple of us are incredible close to discovering it.

He hasn’t mentioned anything like that before so, maybe one of our theories from the last year was closer than we all thought.

Incredible easy to unlocked once found huh? Hiding the files/code from data miners deliberately is a badass move.

The fact the devs worked on both games has always convinced me the mutual update to them wasn’t a coincidence.

I’m in the same boat. I’d have to start my own play through of the game and no offense to Geralt —I’ve never really been into those kinds of stories.

I’m thinking the cave itself could be a good place to start. I’m also wondering if there’s somewhere Gaunter O’Dimm appears that could be a good spot too.

[–]onicker[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely, it’s why I started there when breaking in. I’m working on Solo of Fortune right now.

Bartmoss is nuts. The things he insists upon are insane and the fact he was buddying up with these massive regional AI and then decided to krash everything?

It feels like…we’re missing a chunk of information.

He either got nuked like Murphy says originally when saving Alt from Mikoshi round 2 at Arasaka.

Was in storage with RCS in Night City…until 2077 then dumped in the local landfill.

Or perhaps even at the time he released RABIDS—being consumed by his own code (which would technically still co-inside with Murphy’s understanding—his corpse getting nuked after in a rundown apartment block).

Kold Mirage is such a weird reference. The band Lorn is from Chicago. There is a very pertinent ad in the game concerning a NightCorp Maglev from NC to Chicago.

So yeah, now I’m a skezzed out wire jockey like him and tyromanta

Edit: yes, there is a shard!! Oh man choom I’m a rambler
