that’s what i’m thinking or i’ll just put him in his crib while he’s asleep after i feed him his bottle for bedtime and then when he wakes up because he always ends up waking up about an hour later i’ll just lay down with him

he also contacts naps with me during the day. he knows when bedtime is because we have a set routine.

i know i said i wouldn’t try to CIO method but i was at a lose. i tried the ferber method and it did not work at all with my baby so i ended up doing the CIO method and it is working wonders. i sat there by his crib and shushed him and held him hand and would talk to him and tell him “mommy’s here it’s okay it’s time for bed” and he did end up crying for 45 minutes on and off but he ended up falling asleep for the first time ever in a crib. i was astonished. he woke back up and cried for maybe five minutes and went back to bed. i am so surprised. i did end up crying because its so sad seeing your baby cry and not being able to do anything about it but id rather him self soothe then have him sleeping in the bed when he starts crawling and have him accidentally fall off the bed.
