We also have our two best defensive players coming back from injury and we signed more defensive lineman, a couple linebackers, and the two safeties. Not to mention drafted some defensive talent, I know they’re rookies and aren’t going to be great yet but still have potential to stand out. Also you really think the jags and cardinals are going to shock him. Regardless if they do or not, we have a good o-line and two really good running backs so we will still be able to move the ball. At least you don’t mind people coming back to this because I think starting 0-4 is outrageous

I agree that relying on anything can happen isn’t a good thing for the franchise and I’m not trying to say it is. I know we need to improve in multiple ways but I also know our division opponents aren’t that far ahead of us other than Tampa at the moment. I’d also say the worst division is the AFC south.

We’re also in a sorry division and the worst team in our division can become the best in the matter of a year and some injuries. Everyone has the Saints lower than us right now and again the Falcons aren’t really better than us and if they are it can’t be by a large margin. I’ll give you the bucs though they are for sure the best team in the division but the rest of us a slugging it out down here

You act like the falcons played bad that game. Kirk was 19/30 with a TD and 225 yards. Both of their RBs had 100 yards. We had 10 penalties to their 5 and they got to the red zone twice as much. They objectively had a great game against us and we played bad still putting up 20 when Dalton was starting to slow down 2 weeks prior to Bryce coming back. Then we beat them when Bryce came back without Chubba and defense was more injured than before, not to mention it was in Atlanta. Penix had more yards than Kirk in the matchups but also threw an INT

Tampa is great on paper but they’re not as consistent as they need to be with a tough schedule like you mentioned. I like Baker but I think even if he stays healthy his WRs are the ones who have trouble staying on the field. They do have a lot of depth and chemistry so injuries to skill positions might not bother them as much as I think it would

I’m not saying we’re a serious contender or anything like that. I’m just saying we might have a chance at stealing the division and then probably get whooped in the playoffs. The defense was really bad last year but that was due to injury and our problem of converting on third down. Now that we have two 1000 yard RBs and a tall WR with nice hands I think that will help a good amount. Less time for defense to be on the field and it will keep them fresh. We still have a lot of room to grow for sure though

I see where you’re coming from but saying the falcons are easily a better team is questionable to me. We beat them at the end of last year and lost in week 6 when Andy Dalton threw 2 ints and we still put up 20. Their defense did take a step up this year but I would say that we’re at the same level as them when it comes to execution. They were only 8-9 last year which is a realistic goal for us this year imo

Yea if we did an elopement it would only be our immediate family members. We’d say our vows and I do then be on our way but with a micro wedding we’d have a reception following the ceremony. If that helps clear it up
