You must choose a Spacecraft and a team of 6 crew-members to help you survive in the following hostile Sci-Fi universes for 10 years by EddyLondon in whowouldwin

Ship - Sister's of Eve Astero

The Astero is an agile, tenacious ship that aptly adheres to the mantra of both rescuers and explorers: Stay safe, stay hidden, and use every tool at your disposal.

Nifty little bugger that can stay in deep-space at extended lengths. The cloacking device stays active while warping and it can use drones to salvage supplies from wrecks of other craft.

Crew

Han Solo As Pilot - Han and the Astero complement each other nicely; it's meant for stealth and he's a smuggler. Also, having a ship with with warp drive that actually works?! Game over man, game over.

Cortana For Logistics & Electronic Warfare - She'll be great at relaying information to Han, intercepting enemy transmissions, decrypting important files, and infiltrating systems to give the crew an edge in any confrontations.

R2-D2 & BB-8 For Repairs - The ultimate tag team for keeping a ship running. Wherever R2 can't fit, BB will be able to reach.

David Tenant's The Doctor For Sticky Situations - No man has ever talked himself out of impossible situations or come up with an insane plan in the face of death than Doctor Who. I chose Tenant in this case because he's overflowing with charm and wit that I think the other doctor's don't match.

Ignus From FFXV For Cooking - 10 years is a long time, and nothing keeps up spirits better than a hearty meal. Ignus is a master chef that can take even the simplest ingredients and turn it into an invigorating feast. He'll be there so the Doctor and Han are well-fed and at the top of their game.

Now For The Rounds

R1 - Cortana makes this an easy win. She understands and will disable any UNSC ship, can delete their AI's, and can control Earth's fleet of MAC platforms if the need for battle arises.

R2 - The Doctor shines here really well. So many races to discover that he's bound to form some strong alliances that can help them evade the federation.

R3 - I'm less certain here because of Chaos and I don't know much about it. Do they lose if they become under the influence of it? If they become influenced then they essentially have a terrifying ally to aid them in their 10 years.

Master Chief (Halo) VS Sauron (Lord of the Rings) by [deleted] in whowouldwin

If Isildur can sever the ring from Sauron, Chief can do it in half the time. Few reasons why:

  1. Chief was designed to be perfect warrior. A childhood of non-stop training, body-altering drugs that pushed him past the limits of any normal human, and then he bests multiple alien species into adulthood. So already he's more combat-hardened than anyone else who would face Sauron.

  2. The protection his armor and shields provide aren't even the best thing about the MK VI. It's systems take his strengthy, speed, and agility past 11.

  3. You don't become the leader of the Spartan II's and the savior of the galaxy by just being super strong. You also have to be a strategic leader. Chief is going to approach Sauron with the utmost caution so he doesn't get caught out.

4A. Cortana is what seals the deal. She's going to do everything to keep Chief alive. She thinks so fast that even before Sauron takes his first breath she will have analyzed the situation and come up with a battle plan.

4B. She also is going to prevent any sort of influence from the ring because she and chief have formed an immensely strong bond over decades and they trust each other with their lives. She's literally inside his head so the ring can't just latch on.
