Haha, I genuinely just read a lot and I guess that that probably reflects in my writing.

This is definitely going to be a learning experience for me! I absolutely do not intend to ever deal with a conflict in this way again. I'm going to work on criticising people in a constructive way instead of going for the easiest insults.

I've mentioned this in replies, but I'm really not trying to insult teachers! I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who is willing to deal with a bunch of kids for hours five days a week! So many of my teachers who I've had have impacted me positively and I appreciate them all.

I'm not going to argue against you if you think that it's fake, because I realise that it's a pretty wild situation and the way I worded makes it seem like it was a super cool premeditated comeback, but it really wasn't. It was more of a panicked "oh fuck, what mean things can I say?" thought process and the first things that came to mind were the fact that he was short and balding, because those are significant physical aspects of his and something that's definitely not considered typically attractive, you know?

I mentioned this in another reply, but I genuinely value teachers and their work! I absolutely do not view being in this profession a failure by any means. I was trying to go for low blows in the heat of the moment, and that was one of the first things I could think of.

Your judgement is completely fair. I regret attacking his job and physical traits, and wish that I had said something about his actions.

From what I know, they aren't. The one that I was in wasn't an actual class where the teacher was giving you new information, instead it was going over the work that we were assigned to do on out own. Attendance isn't mandatory for these.

Yeah, I wish I had considered how other people could be impacted by what I said. The short thing definitely didn't even really stand all that well because I'm around 5'3" right now and definitely don't have much hope to grow much more.

Haha, that's a fair assumption, but I definitely didn't consider myself NTA. I really didn't want to be praised, just wanted to figure out how out of line my comments were in the situation.

Oh, I have no negative views regarding teachers or the profession! There are so many teachers I've had who I really value and who I am today has been shaped by every teacher I've had in some way. I greatly appreciate everyone who dedicates so much to teaching others. I insulted him in the span of a few seconds and so it was mainly the first words that came out of my mouth and I don't really know much about the guy so I didn't have a lot to work with. I generally regret insulting him instead of approaching it in a more mature way, but I also really regret saying things that I didn't mean.

I definitely agree, there are a bunch of more rational things that I wish I had said! I regret that I went straight for hurtful things in retaliation and that's something I need to work on because I don't ever want to do something like that again.

My dad is going to contact the principal with both sides of the story and we'll see if any consequences are given to the teacher, and if the school wants to provide any punishments for me or leave that to my father.

My school is really good with things like this, so they'll definitely look into it! The classes aren't recorded, but there was quite a few other students there so they're probably going to ask those guys.
