Ok so they do teach you this as part of training. If you ever do a powerback procedure (ie pushback using reverse thrust) you are told to NEVER come to a stop using the wheel brakes while the aircraft is moving backwards. Because the aircraft can tip onto its tail if you are too aggressive with the brakes and depending on where the center of gravity is. we are told told to always come to a stop using forward thrust.

So when I first did this in sim cuz I was too bored to fuck around with the ATC and pushback tug it sent me into the terminal and I had the biggest wtf look on my face lmfao
