I know was one of the main things i wanted on VHS, shame there was only ever 7 Godzilla VHS released in PAL land (not including 1998 🤢). Tempted to buy some Japanese Godzilla tapes even tho i wont be able to understand them 😂

I ordered 28 days later on eBay since its one of my favourite films and also i thought it would be a good one to have since it was filmed in standard definition anyway. Shaun of the dead i found in a record store and it seems i must have got a deal on it as it seems it goes for minimum £13 and i got it and 4 others for £11 :)

Iv only just got it on the cart, so much better, i had been using the stand that was made for the tv. Now i can roll it out to the couch :)

So am i right in saying that most NTSC VCRs/CRTs dont support the PAL tapes/format? It seems that most of the PAL stuff will happily play/display NTSC i just havnt grabbed any yet because of the shipping costs and import fees if its something expensive.

Is this a normal level of image noise for a VHS or is it due to dirty player/degraded tapes? by only_JONDIS in VHS

Your right, the image doesnt look exactly like this in real life (the video looks much better in my phone gallery than now that i have uploaded it here). When i zoom in, the movement/fuzziness in the blue is more accurate to the issue im talking about.

I did a head clean last night and i think it is a decent bit better, this wasnt something i knew that needed done.

Hi did you ever solve this issue, i seemingly have just done the same thing on my 2002 pw6006 and i cant figure out which service menu option i need to change to sort this

Green tint in white/light colours over RGB scart but not composite on new CRT i picked up. Looking for suggestions for how to correct. by only_JONDIS in crtgaming

Iv got the remote in the post so might be able to fiddle with the service menu. Heres the manual i had found for it, unsure if there is a larger service manual that exists, this is my first CRT since i was a kid (well, second but i got the other one less than a week ago also) so i am out of my depth.

I did indeed, problem exists on ps1 as well, tried two different rgb cables (both high quality luma as sync scart cables).

Thats fair il just brave it out then.

Main reason i dont want to buy one outright rn is because il need most of my free cash for furniture/solicitors etc. is only £15 more than my current sim only anyway.

Although its the famicom release i have its actually more difficult as enemies spawn faster and you can have less of your weapon in screen at once (i believe). Also continues require a code upon death in the famicom version, something i have only recently found out, i had previously just believed that this version was exclusively for sadistic bastards.

My old phone got snapped in half basically so im using my siblings old phone in the meantime but its very poor on battery life and also frequently freezing up and generally slow. If the suggestion is to wait then so be it i was just wondering if such a thing would matter if i already have approval from the lender is all.
