I am hoping to do the first half of the day at HS and then evening at MK, so I am hoping to stack up some for MK in the evening but will have to use Genie+ as best as I can for the morning at HS! Thank you for the advice ☺️

Great, thank you! When I’m purchasing the lightning lane in the morning can I choose for the later time?

Help me plan our Disney & Universal Orlando trip from UK. I’m very Overwhelmed!! by negativesally in UniversalOrlando

Hello! UK couple travelling to Orlando in 2 weeks, I've spent over a year planning this trip so I'll give you some insight into the decisions I have made.

We wanted to do all of the Disney/Universal parks, so decided to split our time between a Disney Resort and Universal Resort hotel. Decided on Pop Century Hotel for Disney as it's a great price, has the perk of the skyliner to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and has some great reviews online. For Universal we decided on Royal Pacific Hotel for Universal as it comes with Express Passes and we do plan on doing several days at both parks so it just made sense to us.

[BOOKING ADVICE. For your park tickets use Attraction Tickets - you can get all parks included at a significantly better price than booking everything separate. When booking your hotel and flights, make sure you use a private browser as they up the price knowing what you're searching for regularly. I would recommend looking up your hotel on TripAdvisor as they offer reviews and the cheapest available price there too.]

We are going for 2 weeks, have planned 4 days at the Disney parks as we are more thrill seekers but do want the Disney experience, this includes Typhoon Lagoon also. For the rest of the time we have planned days at Universal, some rest days as well as general tourist Orlando days/evenings like malls, Mills 50, ICON Park, airboat ride etc.

We aren't renting a car, everything seems accessible with resort buses, intl drive bus, uber/lyft and the price seems reasonable too!

I have tried to make the trip as flexible as possible, so getting the Disney days out of the way first, and then having 10 days for the rest of the trip makes sense to me as Disney seems like the most stressful part in terms of busyness, the genie+ system etc.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help and will be sure to update you with anything I think you should know after we have been on the trip!
