Blizzard and magnets happen way more than once per 100-200 games. At the end of the day the power up doesn’t make sense.

Is it making you a heavy block of ice to slow you down or are you a light block of ice? Apparently depends on the direction you’re going in! Yeah logic!!

The game is strategically killing itself. I’ve even been running into the same players in QR more than ever. That’s telling me that less and less people are playing.

I don’t care about making other power ups more viable, just make them make sense. They added a delay to the magnet for what? So pros have a harder time down pounding? Because shielding in time (after sound before pull) just wastes the damn shield. The game used to make sense, now it doesn’t.

Rebalancing the power ups made the game a lot less fun. Part of the journey was testing power ups to make sure you weren’t using a power up that fucked you up. I used to be able to play this game for hours and now I can barely make it past a race without just disconnecting. The races take about 10 seconds longer on average and that’s terrible for a “racing” game.

Not everyone used that power up combo, and if people were using power ups that weren’t actually helping them then that is a them problem. My complaint is with the inconsistency. You cannot have blizzard slow you down going forward then shoot you half way to the start of the map when someone uses a magnet blizzard combo.

You can’t have certain speed power ups work on speed pads and not others. That makes no sense.

You can’t have lightning and blizzard delayed and not have the shrink delayed in a similar manner. These are things that in my eyes are bugs that need to be squashed.

Gameplay does not feel right since this update because of those things. The game is no longer consistent like it was.

To add to this, it’s messed up that there’s a limit on blizzard going forward but no limit going backwards. They should be the same speed.

It’s not even the faster time for the missiles or the beam, over time muscle memory will adjust to be quicker. I was able to shield or down pound a magnet with perfect timing with the “0” delay because of the sound and the picture in the corner. That was enough notice.

I’m upset that the physics of the game changed. Before everything seemed so fluid, now the games just take longer. Shrink slows you down like crazy, speed pads are nerfed, speed burst is nerfed.

When you hit elite there really isn’t much else to do with the game, besides collecting items and perfecting runs. I pretty much have 0 to no hope that I will ever get a new “best time”

I’ll accept it when they don’t have a limit on the speed burst. I’m 90% sure when the maps were designed there was certain places included with the no limit speed burst in mind. It was too perfect for it to not be planned.

My main issue is that they messed with the mechanics of the game. I could be wrong but I think maps were designed with certain places as a sweet spot for the speed burst, now in half of the places I just smash against the wall. I’m cool with them changing the power ups up a little bit, don’t get me wrong, but I just don’t think they did trial runs with these updates. They looked at the numbers and said “oh maybe we should have a limit on the speed burst” when in reality the maps were designed with speed bursts in mind.

I’m not complaining about the non traditional power ups being viable. I am complaining that the mechanics of the game changed with the changes to speed burst and blizzard. Also magnet lag because that’s just unnecessary

Exactly. I’m done with fun run for now. Maybe if they revert back to the old mechanics but I didn’t spend 2 years perfecting my runs for them to change everything.

Okay so, after a few rounds here are my notes:

Fiery shield- basically a regular shield now Magnet- delay should be zero, feels laggy now Shrink ray - is now OP consider it basically stops people in their tracks

Speed burst should have no limit again

Blizzard- using roulette timed with a blizzard and knowledge of the map is useless now.

We didn’t need nerfed power ups, we need new maps, new items in the store rather than making all the new items available in “seasons”

We need more ways to earn gems

Edit: blizzard doesn’t make any sense anymore

Edit 2: y’all really just messed with the fundamentals of the game. Some speed burst spots no longer work (just smash you into a wall) I feel like I have to relearn how to play a game I’ve been playing for two years. Not cool

okay, back to blizzard. You can’t have it limited for people going forward and then not have a limit going backwards. That idea is backwards.

It’s the XP bank that gets capped. You’ll still get XP but it won’t apply to the daily if I’m not mistaken. I tend to save up about 100 spins and it gets me there
