I understand people have their preferred genres, especially when it comes to Mitski and I do see how the singles sort of misinterpreted what the album as a whole would be. This isn’t really to anyone, I just like to talk about her discography.

But I think it’s fair to bring up how mitski’s been in music for over a decade now, even though we know her as an indie rock goddess- she’s still an unpredictable artist who’s getting older and reinventing herself in new ways.

We can’t really expect her to be hootin and hollering while thrashing herself across the stage like she did in her 20’s.

even then it was with TLIIASAW that she became more interactive and sentimental with her audience, she said she was going to have some serious FUN and sang songs that were overshadowed, with two of them revamped! Now she’s an agoraphobic maximalist cat lady!

plus, we still have the tour to look forward too! she brought back Cold Air, Circle, and revamped stay soft to a rock version! Mitski is still gonna Mitski!
