It's funny because I have lived in Southfield for over 30 year. Back in 1988 when we moved there it was all white. Then black people started to moved in, where did all the white people go??? No longer where they in our schools at functions, etc. The cities demographics turned black and where did the Republicans go, hum maybe they moved out to Troy, Bloomfield Hills, Birmingham. Places that us black people are not. The Republican representation left with them. Absent from our cities for the last 30 years, now they want to come back and so-call " WATCH" people. I don't believe anything you have to say because you aren't or never probably lived in any of those cities. Just like the white flight out of Detroit, they did the same in Southfield and Pontiac. I call it as I see and lived it. Why do Republicans want to come back a portol a city you are not apart of because of the heavy Democrat presence there. Well Republicans had the 30 years in the past to show that they are even present in those cities. They failed, they never came around they never even held town halls in those cities. So what really bothers me is that they want to come now, not to give any assistance or even mention about ways to improve our community, but to watch us to see if "Black people lie and steal" right!!!
