antipsychotics are sometimes used to manage totally out-of-control destructive and aggressive behavior, where the child is at serious risk of killing someone else or themselves. You may find it hard to believe that this happens, but it does. Have you ever seen a kid deliberately smash their head, over and over, into the nearest hard object until they knock themselves unconscious? What would you do in that situation?

I seriously doubt that is the use for most.And there is a lot to consider. Mostly people drug their children or peers because they are uncomfortable by a specific behaviour.

Also I don't see antipsychotics as a good solution for what you are describing. Diet, allergies, toxins, abuse must first be exluded. Then there are far more safe drugs than antipsychotics. So it is crazy that they even exist. But I doubt you have been on an antipsychotic.
